Was not sure what to expect but found unbelievable talent and a range of wonderful woods. Wish I had a container and cash to ship some of this home for me.

This is a lovely gallery that showcases the diversity of Tasmanian designers including wood ceramics jewelry and textiles, prices were very reasonable and I picked up some great gifts to take home to family I would highly recommend a visit

The Design Centre in Launceston is an interesting visit as it showcases many of Tasmania's talented designers in one location. The only downside is that it is quite expensive and in many cases we found the same items elsewhere considerably cheaper, so beware.

Here is a great display of hand crafted, locally made items from pieces out of wood, ceramics and textiles. If you are looking for quality locally made items then this is the place to visit.
