We visited at the time the rhododendrons were at there best and the chair lift passes over them. Spectacular views.

We went one way on the chair lift just because we could. It was about 10.00 each I think. There is no need if you don’t wish to but it was a bit of fun and something different for us. I would recommend.

I mean, it’s a chairlift. Some of their promotional material is misleading, making it look like you go across a raging torrent of water... um, no. Kids and I enjoyed it and the scenery is beautiful but felt it didn’t live up to my expectations....More

Not a high adrenalin experience by any means lol but is suitable for any age and the gorge is beautiful. Perhaps a tad expensive at $15 an adult. But it is what it is and is a must do. Combine it with a morning or...More

A gentle ride at a relaxed pace so you can take in all the beautiful scenery that surrounds you, both high and low. At the far end, there were wallabies just waiting to greet everyone, along with very friendly staff and both ends.

I prefer to use the chairlift when the river is flooding and the waters are raging below - great scenery. In the warmer months it is a beautiful visit of a natural delight in the heart of the city. No cost to visit the Gorge...More

A restraining bar to keep you safe as you slowly travel above the scenic grounds of the Cataract Gorge.

Sorry about the delay in answering. No restrictions for little ones. They look after you really well. However you have most likely been on the ride by now.

Hi there. The walk is level and I was with someone who has walking difficulties and they managed both ways very well. Its an easy walk along the river.
