Kirra beach is absolutely stunning. The waves are fantastic and beach facilities are close. Sand is nice and beach is beautiful to walk along. Lifeguards in a good location.

Spectacular place with hinterland views and Oceanfront views. Beach across the road and close to all amenities including cafes restaurants surf clubs. The resort has outdoor pool heated spa sauna gym and mini putt putt and a small playground for toddlers.

Nice spot for a swim, the waves usually aren't too big so its good if you have kids. There are unmetered parking spots, gets pretty busy during the warmer months so parking can be a bit of a mission.

We were lucky enough to have friends who have just moved into a fabulous unit on the 5th floor , overlooking the beautiful Kirra beach area

The beach here is magnificent and the area is much quieter than Surfer's Paradise and Coolangatta. There are a few quiet shops but the beach is the main attraction here.

Personally I don't like to stay in Surfers Paradise as much, it's way too over-crowded and touristy and like Andrew said, the beach is just average anyway. Kirra is much nicer. Also, just to throw it in there, I find... More

If you are not heading to Kirra anytime soon, try and find the surf cam for the area or google street view on your search engine. This might give you an idea of what's on offer in the area. From memory, the Kirra lookout... More
