We've been a few times, rangers are great. Here's a tip though, take a book and a comfy cushion to sit on as it's animal dependent and the first to book go to the beach earlier. Please don't ask the staff if you can jump...More

This would have to be the best place to watch turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and watch them hatch later and scramble to the ocean to begin their life, it makes you appreciate the wonders that we have and need to protect.

Wrong season for the turtles when we visited so only saw the beach and surrounds. Nice and clean and lots of lovely pebbles and big rocks on the beach.

I visited twice this season - once to see nesting turtles and once for hatchlings. Both experiences were wonderful and really impressed the children who were with me. The rangers were informative and friendly, they answered questions and kept everybody interested and involved. The information...More

We had booked about a month in advance for hatching season and were very well rewarded. The night time viewing does have limited numbers.

They start on 7 and if you are not there in time if you are the first group you may be missed, when I was there people were arriving later on etc, but I would try and be there as close to 7 as possible.
