So after many years this iconic & very interesting shape of a structure is going down. Oh how we will miss your interesting presence on Newy’s skyline. Farewell dear friend, it was great knowing, climbing & eyeing you!

We climber the 40.3m high tower during 45km/hr winds. While we rested at the top, and yes the tower did sway slightly, it was the wind "singing' through and around the tower that was brilliant. The views were marvellous across the bay to Stockton.

Fairly easy climb was worth the effort Perspex is old so best view is one level down from the top. Was clean and in reasonable condition for a 30 year old structure by the sea.

In my opinion this place has the best views on the water for a drink or a meal. I like sitting downstairs for a drink and upstairs for a meal. I didn't think my meals were very high quality so I would love to return...More

It was open all day and had no closing hours so I assume it is open all the time.
