We dropped in to have a quick look but were fortunate to meet Gary who is a volunteer at the Museum and he virtually gave us a private tour. His wealth of knowledge really made it a very memorable part of our visit to Broken...More

In about an hour I had time to superficially explore the railways and hospital collections, both fairly comprehensive. There are others within the complex. Only negative was that a request for information (railways) from duty staff was pointless.

Plenty to see here. Many memories of happy times. Staffed by friendly volunteers, dedicated to preserving our history for current and future generation.

This museum is just the best. Each time I visit a Broken Hill I visit this museum. Full of such interesting trains and kids just love it. Don’t miss calling in here.
