Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to Sunday mass at the cathedral. A beautiful looking building on the outside, solid built. It was just as lovely on the inside. The service was mostly in song, welcoming and people very friendly.
It could be historical and artistic depending on the reason for your visit.

People say your closer to God in a Catholic Church as the Catholics always went for the high point in town when available ! This is a beautiful stone & copper sheathed Cathedral built in 1905 and a testament to the faithful who raised the funds to erect same. No government grants in those days. A Lovely interior and quiet & peaceful on our visit and is up there with the best ! Very good stained glass as well, extremely colourful !

We had seen the steeple on our travels around Broken Hill so decided to visit here. What a magnificent building and church. We had traveled to Europe 12 months ago and visited many churches with a great history but this one is certainly up there in beauty. We sat for awhile and appreciated the silence and peace that you can only find in cathedrals. The grandeur of this cathedral is testament to the grand history of this outback town. Don't miss it.

Broken Hill is a town full of period architecture and the history buff would probably enjoy this town. If you are inclined this way, you should enjoy this beautiful stone church from the early 20th century. It has a crenellated bell tower, attractive stonework and stained glass windows. The interior is also attractive, and the timber roof is especially nice. The church was open when we visited on Saturday afternoon.

A beautiful Cathedral, peaceful and prayerful. Great homilies by the parish priest, Father Nick. Evening prayer is sung on Sunday evening. Come and discover the love God has for all.
