We went there to go for a walk and found it pretty average, had trouble finding the place to start off with as there is also another picnic area which looks a bit run down close by. Would be great for mountain bike riders as...More
Excellent place for a bike ride, a dog walk or a jog. You can even camp there if you want. Addition of toilets recently adds a lot. If this place was on the coast, you'd be paying to get in and it would be very...More
I've visited the pine forest on several occasions over the last three years! Its fun for a little bit of a hike, its got some wildlife, its quite large though and you can get easily lost but its always a fun adventure back and there...More
We are so fortunate to have this place right here on our doorstep. We have mountain-biked, walked the dog, walked the kids, walked ourselves. Just no end of possible routes and all in pure nature. A truly great facility and not ruined by civilization. Just...More
Our 'go to' spot to walk the dogs in summer, the pine forest is a great little place to be around nature. We've stopped in the Winter months as by the time we get off work it's too dark to see where you're going!
Had a lovely walk through some of the trails. Recommend to fill in a couple of hours of activity. Not much infrastructure. Could do with some picnic tables etc.. Which would make it more usable and a destination
Steep sections but can be done by the little kids with strider style bikes. No infrastructure, park on road and I imagine hot in summer but a safe place to ride and challenging / designed for older kids XC style.
