Got there at 3:33 and the for the 3:30 house tours and the guy said he couldn’t do it because no one was there by 2:10, even though you have to pay for a ticket he still wouldn’t open the house. Second time we have...More

What a beautiful location for a wedding or party .Great grounds for a. Marque or rooms at the back that can be hired plenty of car space ,area big enough for buses .Five minutes from. Armidale great motels 5 k down the road .

We visited about October 2017 with a group do a grand tour outside and inside the house. A light lunch was included in our tour and both the tour and the lunch were excellent. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Well worth a visit to learn all about the heritage of this old homestead. Tour is well worth it as its the only way to see inside the house. Tour guides are volunteers but very knowledgeable and lots of humour amongst the facts. Only downside...More

No access to inside of the building which is disappointing. One can catch a few glimpses of it through the fence

Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to take a tour through the homestead it was still worth visiting to take a walk through the gardens. The rose gardens were beautiful and there were lots of autumn trees which looked great this time of year....More
