The Fiordland i-SITE is one of the better ones that we visited in New Zealand. The staff are very helpful and informative. There is also a small museum that was very interesting.

We visited the I site because we couldn't decide if we shall visit Milford or doubtful sound. The employee was really friendly and helped us to choose a sound and also a cruise. Thank you!

This iSite Visitor centre is located in the centre of Te Anau town and is easy to find since Te Anau is a small town. It has the usual brochures and maps and you can seek tourist information or make bookings.

i stopped here before my tours to meet staff that were very friendly and knowledgeable with local knowledge. I grabbed some brochures, maps, a film and noted more places of interest to visit next.

As there is nothing to do in Te Anau there probably no point in stopping by the visitor site. Everything we were told to see was closed and the "shot" walk to the bird sanctuary ended up being over an hour and we still didn't...More

This is a lovely visitor center with friendly staff and invaluable information (especially regarding the weather condition along the tracks). Make sure to drop by for a visit while in Te Anau.
