We visited the Chasm while on our Jucy trip to Milford Sound and it is a special place to see with waterfalls thundering down through the chasm. The 30 minute return trip takes you on a gradual incline to two viewing platforms. The day was...More

This just has to be experienced. It is mindblowingly fantabulous. That water alone could have sculpted rocks like this is stunning. It’s better for me not to descri e more because the surprise is part of the delight. If you can, then go!

The walk is very beautiful, amazing plants, beautiful trees, and beautiful water running thru rocks that the water carved out. I loved the tree ferns.

Really pleasant and easy walk on the way to Milford. Amazing waterfalls as the water finds its way down the chasm. Lush vegetation and great photo spots.

Water can do amazing things, this is a great little place of interest and the walk is short and easy so children and people with limited walking could still make it here. Lovely little stop!

This stop along the way to Milford Sound, is a nice short walk in a lush green environment, to a very unique water way structure. We happened to visit when it was raining/had been raining, so made it even better. Would highly recommend a visit.

Definitely worth pulling over for. The chasm is beautiful with the clear running water, smooth carved rocks and forest surrounds. It's an easy, short walk.
