Never been there in peak tourist season. It's really peaceful to use as a base to Milford and to other lakes and attractions. Varied selection of restaurants and great pub on the water to have a relax after the day

I’m so glad we took the time to come and visit this lake. It is breathtakingly beautiful! The mountains, the clouds, the sun reflecting on the water... breathtaking. One of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen!

This is a small Town with many restaurant, many interesting small souveniour Shop, a Supermarket, tour Agency that operate tour to Milford Sound, Fiordland boat tour, and also glow worm tour.

A very beautiful and tranquil place. Nice to sit by the lake and enjoy the scenery. A must to visit!! A few hotel face the lake but do choose wisely as the vary in quality.

Personally i would concentrate on the Milford Sound .You won't be disapointed.
