It's really peaceful to use as a base to Milford and to other lakes and attractions.
Varied selection of restaurants and great pub on the water to have a relax after the day
I’m so glad we took the time to come and visit this lake. It is breathtakingly beautiful! The mountains, the clouds, the sun reflecting on the water... breathtaking. One of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen!

We were just passing through to Queenstown and stopped and had a picnic beside Lake Te Anau. Such beautiful scenery. There are lots of different tours which take off from here including light planes, helicopters and boats. Would love to have had time.
