The coach was on-time, and the friendly driver helped getting our luggage on & off. As well as a couple of pick-up stops, there was a short beak after about one & a half hours to stretch legs, buy a coffee & visit facilities. Alan the driver went above and beyond in regard to our bags, as we needed to leave them secured whilst out tramping. He provided great information as we travelled from Queenstown to Te Anau Department of Conservation. Love this company. Arrived in Queenstown airport to do the Routeburn and discovered two packs plus our walking poles hadn't arrived. The airport was less than helpful. Rang Tracknet who told me there is an agreement with the airport where they will put our gear (when it turns up) on the 6am Tracknet bus and take it to Te Anau around 9.15am free of charge. Such a relief as the airport was saying it would cost $1,000 per pack to courier it out! They were fantastic to book with; really accommodating picking us up from the airport then collecting us the following day from our accomodation to take us to the start of the track. When we looked at options to store our 'after tramp holiday bags' they again were great, taking our bags from Te Anau to Queenstown and storing them for $15 per bag. Would definitely use them again.

When I first booked our Milford Track transport package through Tracknet I thought it was quite dear to be honest, but quickly changed my mind after considering all the shuttles, car rentals and boat transfers required. Tracknet took care of everything, from Queenstown, to Te Anau, to a Milford Sound Cruise after finishing our walk!
I can't recommend this company highly enough; it is value for money, plain and simple. Not only was every transport transfer on-time and reliable, but the drivers were expectionally friendly and knowledgable. Nigel, in particular, was a stand-out as he had an uncanny ability to remember names and engaged with us as we drove from Te Anau to Queenstown. He also shared really interesting facts about the points of interest along the way. We felt very well cared for. Well done!

We were a group of 8 people. We needed several transport movements tailored especially for us to move us from Queenstown to Te Anau (and return), and in and around Te Anau to do sightseeing and tramp the Kepler track. A total of 7 different trips. The planning was made easy by Nepia's command of the options, and wish to make it easy for us. Every trip was on time and we were driven by interesting people who shared a lot of interesting information about the area.
I would recommend Tracknet for this service and would certainly use them again for any future similar trip.

I travelled with Tracknet from Queenstown to Te Anau and back using their scheduled service. Both trips were great.
Drivers were very engaging and knowledgeable, giving us some commentary on the areas we passed through on the trip.
Buses left and arrived on time and on both trips we were provided with a stop to use bathrooms and get a coffee or snack.
The buses were modern, comfortable and very clean. Seats had foot rests, a seat back pocket for drinks etc and charging ports for mobile phones.
The drivers were very helpful. On our trip from Queenstown a couple realised a few blocks away from the bus terminal that they had left their backpack behind. The driver happily went back for it.
On our return journey, our travel company had changed our hotel booking to one which was 15 minutes walk (up a steep hill) from town. The driver offered to drop us at our hotel to save us the walk with our suitcases. He also offered to drop other passengers direct to their hotel.
Overall a great experience would highly recommend them for transfers.

Tracknet gave me a wonderful experience on completing the Routeburn track... the driver couldn't be more helpful and accommodating and I felt very looked after when there had been an issue with the booking through a third party company. Will definitely be using their services again and couldn't recommend more.

Our family initially thought our wonderful experience of Milford Track Great Walk will start at the moment we get our trekking pole out until the final day when we put it back into our backpacks. Surprisingly, it did not! A Tracknet bus driver named Nigel made our whole trip even more memorable to us, and to all passengers on board, as well. He did not just drive passengers from point A to point B! He went the extra mile! Nigel is approachable, helpful and very professional in what he does!

I used Tracknet in December 2022 and March 2023 for a number of runs between QN and Te Anau, and to/from the Kepler, Routeburn and the Milford tracks. Excellent! Very accommodating and always got me to places on time (often early which was much appreciated!). Special shout out to Paula who I had a couple of times - great chats and superb efficiency at getting some tricky customers to where they needed to go without interrupting the various schedules that the said travellers put at risk - handled with great skill!

Have used the Tracknet bus service for many years,
travelling from Queenstown Airport to Te Anau and return.
Clean, comfortable, punctual. Courteous/helpful staff at all times.
From office booking staff to bus drivers.
Always found the experience pleasant, enjoying the
beautiful scenery as opposed to driving.
Now further enhanced with new buses & including facilities for
iPhone charging. Coffee and toilet stops. Prices very competitive.

We a group of 8 girls from Australia had the best experience travelling with Tracknet. Paula and Nigel two of our drivers were full off helpful information and went above and beyond to make our trip smooth. They were both very friendly helpful humorous people, Well done Tracknet on employing great staff and adding to our travel experience.

Very convenient and on time service. We caught it from Frankton Bus Shelter to Te Anau and then back again from Lakeview Holiday Park to Queenstown Airport. Good value for money.

Hi would like to book round trip for two from Queenstown to Te Anau. Would that be a better rate than buying them separately , as they would be for different days ?

Hi Meeta, to the best of my knowledge there are no special round trip fares, just buy separate tickets for each journey from the tracknet or intercity website. You can also take a Milford sound tour starting from one city and ending in another to save time and money.
