Awesome! Ange is super knowledgeable and the whole three hours is full of information about not only the birds but the plant life, conservation efforts and history of both Ulva and Stewart Island. I'm not really a bird person but after this trip I changed...More
We were introduced to Ange by our Bach owner, and spent half a day enjoying a tailor made, peaceful and therapeutic morning walk around Ulva Island in a very small group, while she told us about the history, geography, botany and zoology of the environment.
We had an awesome time with Ange, an engaging and informative guide. She answered every question with well detailed answers. You can tell she has years of experience in conservation. We even saw a brown kiwi in the daytime, as well as saddlebacks, yellowheads, kereru,...More
This is a very unique way to view Ulva Island. Ange takes out very small groups, mine was one to one, to explore the Island's bird life. Being in such a small group meant that she is able to cover the whole Island rather than...More

Hi. Unfortunately this tour may not be suitable for a mobility scooter. Getting to and from Ulva island includes stepping on and off the wharf and onto boats. There’s also several steps on the wharf and on the track that would have to be negotiated. The track is also not really mobility scooter friendly. Hope this was of some help :)
