A beautiful place to visit & walk. Lots of birdlife, we even had a kiwi walk across the path in front of us, in daylight!

An experience not be forgotten - an opportunity to experience what New Zealand was like centuries ago with numerous birds (some only seen here) and incredible trees and vegetation. A very special place

This was great. We went over hill and dale and saw so much wildlife. The guides are very knowledgable and enthusiastic. I was clicking away madly. Learned a lot about how NZ is working to keep these islands safe for nesting endangered species.

Costs $20-25 round trip--there's a boat with set times ($20), or for $25 you can set your times.
