Ulva and her admin lady Jules were brilliant to deal with. I booked my tickets into stewart island before my tours with Ulva's tours which turned out to be booked out! Ulva and Jules made it happen for me though! Brilliant communication. Matt's tour of Ulva was everything I had

Dianne, we are all thrilled that we could make it happen and got to share Stewart Island and Ulva Island's incredible flora, fauna, landscape and nightscape with you. We love what we do but it makes it especially neat when someone like yourself is so interested and passionate too. Warm regards, Jules :)

Matt Jones was an exceptional guide. Very knowledgeable on flora, fauna & history of not only Ulva Island but Stewart Island in general. A well respected bird guide in NZ and actively involved in conservation I could not recommend a better experience!

A great experience. I have recommended the Ulva Island Guided Walk & evening kiwi spotting combo to others. Even in winter we got to see Saddlebacks and many other unique birds on the Ulva Island tour. We also saw Kiwis on the night tour. The guides are experts and have an

What a great way to spend a few hours, taking the short ferry trip to Ulva gave us another perspective of Stewart islands coastal beauty. On the island with our wonderful guide Ulva we learnt about the history the fauna and of course the native birds. What we saw was

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback Lesley. I'm so very pleased that reviews are still arriving while the world is in lock-down, and II think you are spending this time going through your photos and travel diary :) We haven't been back to Ulva Island since March, it will be very interesting to see how everything is after having no humans wandering around. Very pleased that you saw Ulva Island bird sanctuary before everything closed down. I believe the birdlife there will be loving the isolation. Noho ora mai - keep safe and well, Ulva Goodwillie.
