The ferry over was a bit choppy so services were closed, but the return better weather. It was well run, left on time and a lovely way to approach the Island

Staff is wonderful, coffee is free, boat is comfortable. But this is the Southern Ocean. Lots of waves. I wanted to die on the trip back....

Service was great. Loved standing out the back watching the Southland Coast disappear. The skipper seemed extremely skilled. We were able to load our Vespa on as freight for a small charge.More

A one hour pleasant trip in a catamaran delivered us to Oban town wharf, and because it was raining we headed straight for the lovely South Sea Hotel where they served up the most tender fresh blue cod cooked in thin crisp beer batter. Once...More

We booked return on the ferry for our holiday and we were pretty impressed going over(in spite of swell maps on google looking pretty bad) and the strait was pretty flat. Coming back today was windier but the captain and boat performed very well. Imagine...More

Plenty of parking by the ferry terminal and Bluff is a lovely safe town. You should have no problem at all.
