Easy to use. Just called and they came down at once. Fun going up and down the hills. Worth having 4 hours to do all the roads and have a bit of an explore on foot too.

The bikes were well-maintained and the correct size. This company provided excellent service. I felt safe riding around beautiful Stewart Island. We had plenty of time to do whatever we liked and were able to cover much more than on foot. I highly recommend it if you are used to bike riding. We chose the four hour ride. We found it just right in terms of timing.

Wanted a ride out of hours before the shop opened. No problem! There is a sign with a phone number on it to ring or text and the owner will pop down straight away. Very quickly set me up with the bike and off I went for two hours. Very friendly and excellent service. The shop is also right next to the South Sea hotel in the middle of the village and very handy to everything

The owner is awesome he is a very friendly local and helpful! Made our day seeing him after with a smile always!
Bikes were user friendly too and had a lovely trip seeing all the bays and forest via smooth electric bike!

We had a 4 hour bike rental on a stunningly beautiful day on Stewart Island. I reserved bikes beforehand via their website which was a quick and easy process. When we went to the shop, we were greeted warmly and given thorough instructions on using the bikes. All the accessories one could need (helmet, gloves, even a bike bag) were provided! We were also given a map and some ideas for places to explore. Riding around this beautiful island in the sunshine is something I’m not likely to forget! I definitely recommend booking with Stewart Island Electric Bikes if you’re lucky enough to find yourself here.

Super awesome staff and great bikes! Hit all the recommended spots in 4 hours, made much easier by the electric bike. Had a fantastic afternoon in glorious sunshine, would thoroughly recommend. Thank you!

What a great way to get around Stewart Island. Renting/hiring the bikes was fast and easy, and they were flexible about the return time. It made getting to hiking tracks quicker so we could have more time walking. I would rent bikes again!

The guy who owns the shop was so nice and friendly. The electric bike that I used was good and I had really good time there. highly recommend.

This is by far the best way to see the island! Chloe was great to deal with during the booking process, and the e-bikes are so much fun. You get to see so much more than you would on foot, and there are some great short walks that you can do at some of the recommended places to visit. We had a four hour session which was fantastic, although we could also have used more time if our flight out of Stewart Island wasn't a deciding factor. Highly recommend.
