While Queenstown is generally done at full pace, Onsen Hot Pools takes a step back to let you take in the beauty of the surroundings and simply relax. With uninterrupted views across the Shotover Canyon, our Cedar Hot Tubs are heated to 37.8C on warmer days and up to 39.8C during the winter and can accommodate up to four adults. Our natural setting is matched by the pure water captured on its endless journey between the sky and earth to continually fill and refresh the pools. With complimentary transport to and from Queenstown, Onsen Hot Pools is relaxation the natural way.

Another great experience - we love this place and will always come back. Great value and the view is incredible. Shame we had noisy young people in the spa next to us, ruined the serenity a little.

A fantastic way to end our trip in NZ. Spectacular views and a romantic setting. The foyer and facilities are great. Only suggestion would be to provide better 'snacks'. A nicely prepared platter would be better than chips and chocolate.

This was one of the highlights of the trip to Queenstown. While the hot pools are not the Onsens you see in Japan, the hot pool and the incredible views are worth it - especially for those tired skiing muscles. We went at dusk and...More

These hot pools are simply stunning. We went on a chilly early morning and the steam coming from the hot tub was mesmerising. The view is gorgeous and the privacy of having your own pool is wonderful. Definitely the best hot pool experience we had...More

Would definitely recommend doing the onsen hot pools if you're in Queenstown. The view is one of the best in Queenstown and overlooks the shotover river and some of the most scenic mountains. The only negative is you should be given an hour of bath...More

Hi Children under 5 they don't recommend simply because of overheating and dehydration! Have a look at their website it's really informative! But you won't go wrong with this experience. Cheers

Absolutely! Sunset is around 9:30pm so you get a lot more time to take in the beautiful surroundings and sunset in the summer is always special.
