Excellent indoor pool facility
Mar 2021
We had to find some indoor activities for our 3.5 year old daughter on a wet Queenstown day - and the Alpine Aqualand pool in Frankton turned out to be just the tonic!

A nice range of pools - we spent our time in the main leisure pool (min 0.9 metres depth), and the neat 'lazy river' which our daughter loved floating around in the gentle current. Our baby son also got in the water for the first time ever in the shallow toddler pool. The family change room facilities were greatly appreciated. Excellent value in a town which is often quick to drain the wallet!

Another excellent visit

Possibly the best spa I've been to, in terms of size and comfortable temperature.
This pool is a great place to entertain the kid for a couple of hours.

Good convenient facilities
Jun 2020
This place is always nice to visit. After a couple days on the slope or on a hiking track, this is a good place to relax and recover. Very clean and well organised.

Great wet weather activity
Aug 2019 • Family
I'd suggest coming in the afternoon and not the morning like we did as the 2 big hydroslides aren't turned on until 4pm. It's great value anyway, especially for younger kids (our 2yo had fun). There's a small play area for younger ones with water spouts, mushroom waterfall and a lazy river with heaps of free pool toys around the pool for public use. The water temp is heated but not super warm like a spa (there are spas there for adult use only). All-in-all great value at only $10 entry for adults (free for under 5yo). It's an extra $8/adult if you want to use the slides which did look pretty awesome.

A great pool
Aug 2019
We all love this pool. The adults only spa is a particular favourite. Be warned that the hydroslide costs as much again as pool entry - but there is plenty else to keep kids busy for a couple of hours.

The life guards are terrible!!!
Jul 2019 • Family
When my son went to the pools he came back in tears because the lifeguards made him tear off his slide band for no reason!! Which is outrageous! The lifeguards then took him to the manager of the pool and said that he was "pushing his friend in the slide" I am not happy and will never come back to this pool

Great rainy day activity
May 2019
The rain came down and what to do with 5 children in tow ranging from 5 to 12 years old? This place was perfect and well priced. HIGHLY recommend

Excellent facilty, fun activity for families
Jan 2019 • Family
Spent 2.5hrs here. It's a great facility for families, 2 waterslides, toddler pool, main leisure pool and a river rapids area. We had a really great time, and would recommend it as a fun, cost effective activity for families to get away from the Queenstown hustle and bustle for a while. Clean and modern.

Good pool
Dec 2018 • Family
Really good pool with a wide lazy river and a large pool with an average depth of 1 metre. The slides were not in action, but we did not ask.
