A friend and I fished with Stu for one day. He was available when we needed a guide, and provided a great experience. Wonderful tasty lunch, beautiful river. Oh, and I caught a 5 pound + brown that was over 22" after I broke off my first fish. Thanks Stu!

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your day out with Stu John, it was great meeting you! Stu's Lunches must be fantastic if they rated a mention before the beautiful fish you caught. Rebecca More

Ive just last week completed a 3hour casting course with stu & before I left could already start seeing the benifits of doing this course.within a couple of hours I was loading the rod in a headwind, that alone was worth the trip plus casting further than I have previously done before.I would recommend this course to anyone who struggles to... Thanks Jason, as we both know (thanks for letting me join in!) - Stu is an awesome teacher who imparts so much knowledge in a fun way! Pleased that you got value from your lesson and am hoping that you are seeing the results on the river. Look forward to seeing you (and those yum muffins) soon. More

My advice is - go with Stu. We showed up after a week of torrential spring rains, and the muddy Mataura had dashed all hope. But Stu had gin-clear water in mind, and found the giant browns there, waiting, huge shadows in the streams. We had a great day fording rivers in the back country, and even luck in the... More

That sums it up, I got some new kit from Stu and decided to make the most of it with some lessons also. 4 hours later I learned so much and improved all ranges of cast. I am a much happier fisherman now! Thanks Stu.
