A great day out for my wife and myself. Stu is the ultimate fly-fishing professional but on top of that he is great company and an all-round good bloke. This day is one of our most memorable holiday times and can only urge anyone who wishes to have a day on the river, and catch fish, and have good company... More

What a fantastic shop. Purchased a rod, reel etc. Would've spent more but the wife started to look a little serious!! Couldn't recommend high enough. Shame it's so far from the UK.

It was Stu's pleasure to take the Norfolk n Good Fly Fishing Club out! It was an amazing experience for Stu that every member of your club was able to catch fish on the day - well worth carrying the lunches for you! We look forward to seeing your club back. Rebecca More

Stu is the kind of guide that you can only hope for when you book a trip with a new service. The weather made the rivers almost un-fishable but Stu knew where to look to give a chance. He was very patient and helped me work out some of the bad habits I had obtained over the years. He has... More

He made my wife an inexperienced fly fisher person feel comfortable on the water and taught us a great deal about NZ fly fishing. And we landed... More

Without question, Stu Tripney is one of the very best fly fishing guides I have ever been out with. Not only does he know what he's doing but he has an excellent sense of humour and provides a great day out. What he doesn't know about fishing isn't worth knowing. I would recommend him to a beginner right up to... More

Stopped by on the way through. Chatted with Stu for a few minutes about fishing in the area, as well as his trip back to my hometown in the States. Plan to use him as a guide in the future.

We have just spent two days with Stu, my 15yo daughter and myself. I am a self professed fly fishing fanatic and keep coming back to Stu when I am in NZ from Australia for a regular dose of trout ...this time my daughter joined me. We started with casting tuition for both of us...now my daughter, who is a... More
