Good fun and is like go karting. It's a must and would be great for kids as it gives them something funny to do for parents while they on top of the mountain. Would only recommend 3 rides as it becomes a bit repetitive after...More

The views from the gondola ride to the top are wonderful. It is worth the price of the ticket to see Queenstown from this perspective. The viewing platform at the top was great as well.

This was actually pretty fun, the 3 of us got the 5 trips on the luge, and it was fun racing each other Down the hill. This is also a fantastic spot to get some photos of Queenstown!

This place has the most Amazing view in the world . My kids had so much fun at the luge which had such a breathtaking backdrop of the mountains , lakes and queenstown . You cannot miss this when you visit this city.

Despite my poor cornering skills on my first run it was very enjoyable. Great views from the top until it started to snow. Would recommend

The price for the gondola ticket and 5 rides is reasonably good value and doubt you'll have as much fun for $50-60 in Queenstown on anything else where prices start at $100+ for most activities. Combine with a trip the the Kiwi birdlife park near...More

what a laugh we had on the luge. Helmets were collected in the clearly marked bins. We lined up to hop on to the chair lift, the staff guiding us again. At the top the staff gave us some training tips before they would let...More

This was awesome. The ride up in the Gondola was great, the luge was fantastic. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's a little expensive. $NZ155 for a family of 4 to ride the Gondola and 2 rides each of the luge which is...More

Hmmmm. Average at best. View fantastic but that's all. Luge Ava rag for the price. Half the track closed for repairs. We bought 5 rides each but I did 3 and my partner only did one. Better things to do, eg Perkys

We plan to do 5 luge rides after lunch at Stratosfere. How much would it take from Stratosphere restaurant to complete 5 luge rides and return to the bottom/base of Gondola?

It depends on how long the line is. We went on a Sunday afternoon in May and were able to finish 5 luge rides in about 45 minutes. The gondola didn't take long for us - I would say about 15 mins.

Hi, we are a couple, booking Gondola ride, buffet lunch and 5 luge rides. Can you tell how much time should we budget in total (include queues for gondola and luge rides). Is there a time limit for buffet lunch ? Thanks a lot for your help

Hi there, I would allow minimum 2.5hours for the Gondola, Luge and Lunch combo. The lunch sittings run from 12pm-2pm with the tables to be vacated by 2.45pm. Thanks
