First time in Queenstown, and I have been on the luge in Rotorua (which is bigger) but I have to say that the view from the top of the skyline and luge is stunning! If you are looking to beat the crowds, book tickets in...More

My wife and I just took the cable car up and down, deciding against the luge or trail bike alternate methods of descent. There is a nice shop for souvenirs up top as well as a restaurant. I’m not sure but you may need to...More

Came up for a conference dinner. The night time vies along the track was quite nice. Quite and fairly easy stroll since it wasn't too dark. We were here in early September so there was snow on the grounds as well. The dinner was ok....More

Fifth time to Queenstown but first time up the gondola. You need to do this. The views will take your breath away. Truly majestic. Now compulsory for my trips to Queenstown. So so amazing.

This was the most exhilarating event of our trip to New Zealand and the most reasonably priced. We loved it!

Although a little bit pricey ($35 each), the skyline ride to the top is a must to see the brilliant views over Queenstown and beyond. Nice restaurant at the the top and souvenier shop. Could spend some time up here admiring the magnificent vistas.

Enjoyable morning spent on the luge. The staff and systems involved are very professional and efficient. Kids loved the tracks. My suggestion is to buy the family package. Five rides was enough for us. The views from the top were amazing. Don't eat here. Walk...More

Yes it can save you time. You need to line up to buy the tickets & then line up again to get on to the gondola's Sometimes the queue in 5 mins - sometimes longer

Hi Ian, there is certainly an option to get yourself back down. Several gondolas go up with mountain bikes and riders who descend themselves but not sure of prices and whether they can pay for one or multiple rides up

Hi, the luge pass is per person, they put a stamp on your hand to make sure the ticket is not transferrable to another person.
