Very enjoyable time we all had. Baby slope to start then onto the larger run. Be aware of the "slow ones" on the run...

I took 3 teenage boys on this and we had a great day racing each other down the luge. Buy multiple luge passes when you purchase the gondola ticket and have some awesome fun.

$39 to go up and down is expensive but worth it, fabulous views. You could take a picnic lunch on tables higher up the hill. The Luge looks pretty basic. Book tickets before to jump the long queue. Nice bar next to restaurant, the latter...More

Lots of fun for the whole family with spectacular views. A choice of tracks for a more sedate or a more challenging ride. Great way to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and stunning scenery.

We had a beautiful day to travel on the gondola. We swapped our prebooked tickets and only had a queue a few minutes for a gondola. The ride up was spectacular. We didn’t find it too crowded at the top and got some brilliant photos....More

We had 3 runs, which was sufficient for the adrenaline rush yet not too much to tire you out for the rest of the day. There are two luge tracks available with the advanced track being more exciting.

Yep, this is one of those things you need to do when in Queenstown. Even if you don’t do the Luge (your loss) the views are stunning and spectacular. We took our own lunch and sat under tree relaxing and looking at the view. A...More

A lot more fun than the Skyline luge in Sentosa Singapore. Beautiful scenery along the tracks was unbeatable! Chair lift felt very safe. We all liked the red track more than the easier blue one

This is a must do while in Queenstown as on a good day the views are stunning. The queue for tickets took about 30 minutes so either get there early or pre-buy your tickets. Once passed the ticket line, it is all plain sailing with...More

Not sure of an office at Shotover street, but I did see a counter at the bottom where everyone bought their tickets for collection of pre booked tickets. It opens at 9am.

I don't know for sure, but I can't see why they wouldn't sell you a ride back down.
