For NZ$10, one can descend to a small chamber and view rainbow and brown trout, some salmon, eels, and ducks swimming through decent-sized glass panels. For NZ$1, one can drop feed into the lake and witness the feeding frenzy. Not a place to stay beyond...More

For $10 an adult the underwater observatory is well worth the money! When you get down there you will be amazed by the sky blue water of Lake Wakatipu and all of the large fish that swim by! You may even see an eel if...More

I can't imagine anyone paying $10 to enter this but it's where K Jet tries to sell you the photos and video after your trip. It has one wall with windows where you should see a lot of fish because they feed them there. Not...More

Excellent view of the lake fish. Kids love it as you are immersed in their world. Easy to get to it's just off the main jetty for the shot over jet departures

It's worth a visit just to see the huge trout and eels through the huge windows. If you do the KJet ride ( recommended), you'll be invited To go down to look at the photos of your experience. The staff are relaxed, friendly and fun....More

$10 entry, if you go on jet boat you get to go downstairs for free. Don't spend the money. Fish are huge.
