A gentle stroll around this lake or a cruise are very worthwhile. It is worth capturing the expansiveness and expensiveness of the lake and the remarkables - some of the mountains. We did this in November just after a snow fall - so do not...More

Lovely place by the lake with mountains backdrop. There are alot of lupins around too, if you're looking for them.

The lake seemed endless. It was so vast that it extends out as we drive out of Queenstown. Really scenic and beautiful.

This lake has different view in the morning, noon and evening. When the wind is calm, award winning picture view and the reflection of the snow cap mountains are spectacular.

With pristine blue waters and a depth of about 330m this is one of New Zealand's largest lakes. The scenary is just amazing. I had a cruise on this lake and it was a sight to behold.
