Beautiful scenery, frisbee golf is free to play, very clean beach, great place to relax. Excellent restaurants & coffeeshops on lakeside. Can travel along the lakeside with viewpoints along the roadside.

One of the best lakes I have visited. It is close to the city center making it easy to reach by walk. Close to restaurants and entertainment centers. It has a lot of activities such as hydro attack, shoutover jet, Thunder Jet, Kayak , steamboat,...More

Really enjoyed our Lake Cruise 9am. It wasn't crowded and the staff were very friendly and informative. It's a stunning lake. It went for an hour and a half, and cold have enjoyed more.

Lake Wakatipu if beautiful example of the many wonderful lakes around NZ. with beaches along the shore you can sit back and relax or have a BBQ at the many sites along the shore. With great views of the surrounding mountains is a great place.

A beautiful area. Well worth calling in to see the lake and its surroundings. Plenty of walking around the lake - not too strenuous.

Stayed at QT Hilton on lake Wakapitu. It is a beautiful blue crystal clear lake full of all kinds of activities including a water taxi.

I didn't realise how beautiful New Zealand was and so close to Australia. I have travelled huge distances to go to some great places and here is Queenstown right on our doorstep and only a short flight away.

The lake itself is gorgeous with stunning backdrops of mountains near and far. The beach can get crowded, especially during Christmas and New Year celebrations, but the promenade along the shore is lovely.
