travelling on the boat across to the old sheep shearing station and visiting the old historical sites was the best part of this trip . A must to do on the bucket list for young and old.

Really lovely lake , so many places to eat and enjoy the view with the snow capped mountains surrounding the lake. Lots of accomodation nearby offer lake views as well. Lots of ferries and boating trips from here.

The view of the lake from Queenstown city itself is beautiful in winter. Great place to sit around and relax. You can feed the ducks and birds too. Public toilets are available nearby also. Lots of great tasting food all around.

We hired canoes on lakefront from friendly guy. It was brilliant gliding across the magical lake with spectacular views. Thoroughly recommend this activity, value for money.
