Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have used this business before. The Japanese therapists are friendly and charming but most importantly give a fabulous massage. We had a shiatsu massage together as a couple. Would highly recommend. Be aware cash only or online banking on site when you arrive pre appointment.

Absolutely fabulous! I would definitely recommend visiting for a massage if you have a. spare hour while in Queenstown. My husband and I enjoyed a shiastu massage. The room was so clean, warm and relaxing. The therapists are skilled and really got in to all our sore spots.
We have regular sports massages and we were pleasantly surprised how good this treatment was.
Top service, top value = must do!

I highly recommend this place, the massage was firm and the technique was just right to help with my sore back. The massage table was heated and the music and setting was cosy. Value for money and friendly staff so cant go wrong.

This place was such a great find - we were so pleased with our visit after our first day on the slopes that we organised another massage for the evening of our last day! I really don’t think I would have pulled up quite as well on day two without that first massage – it had been quite a few years since I last got on a snowboard and I felt it.
The massage rooms are on the bottom level of Spa B&B and you enter through reception on Kawarau Road, even though the street address is 23 Douglas Street. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly, welcoming staff. After choosing which massage style we wanted, we were taken promptly to our treatment room which, while maybe not competing with the luxury offerings of some of the spas in town, was well-appointed, warm and inviting.
I can honestly say those two deep tissue massages were two of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I have massages regularly. My masseuse, whose name I unfortunately did not get, was skilled at working out which areas to really get into and those to ease up on. At no time did I have to ask her to alter the pressure, which I really appreciated. My friend had the relaxation massage the first time and the hot rock massage the second time and was thoroughly impressed with both her massages as well.
I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Queenstown!
Public transport tip: Spa B&B is right across the road from the #11 bus stop on Kawarau Road. You get off the bus from Queenstown and take the bus back to Queenstown at the same stop, as this part of the route is a loop from Frankton bus shelter via the airport and Remarkables Shopping Park. It’s the stop after the Douglas Street stop, so you can ask the bus driver to let you know where to get off. The staff have a timetable at the front desk so they can let you know when the next bus will be along.

My wife and I required some TLC after skiing and couldn't have gone better. The lovely ladies at frankton therapeutic massage gave us fantastic massages for a reasonably priced 90 minutes. They ended up being two of the best treatments that either of us have had over the years. The use of several techniques including hot stones with the overall aims of a deep tissue massage left a lasting impression that would definitely take us back! Well done and keep up the good work.

One of the best if not best massage ever. Ado was fantastic knew how to make the aches go away. The place was relaxing and soothing. I wanted a deep tissue massage and Aco did that and more so. I highly recommend going there for a massage. Wish I was here longer so could go for another one

Had a great and refreshing massage after a day hiking up to the Roy's Peak in Lake Wanaka. I had the one hour deep tissue oil massage for $88 and I felt totally relax (almost fell asleep) throughout the massage and my sore muscles and tissue felt softer and better after the massage. Great job to the massage therapist! Thank a million.

This place is a little outside of Queenstown. (About 10 minutes drive). But it’s worth coming for 2 reasons. 1. It’s fairly priced starting at $69 for a 1 hour massage and 2. The massage is superb. The deep tissue massage is really very good. The practitioners are Japanese and clearly well trained. I’d highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quality massage without the high prices of some of the fancier spa places
