Welcome to Queenstown Ice Bar - an elevated take on the classic Ice Bar experience, offering premium cocktails, a striking lounge bar, and a truly unique night out in one of the most scenic cities in the world. Immerse yourself in our Scandinavian-inspired cocktail lounge, built from 25 tonnes of hand carved, glass-like ice architecture. We’ll keep you cosy in our luxe winter coats, and quench your thirst with our carefully curated cocktail menu. Find us at the Upper Village, next to the iconic Queenstown Gondola. Came in with some friend during the day and made a booking for 6pm came back grabbed the gear and went straight down. Brandon the bar tender was excellent and made a top espresso martini

We had an amazing experience at the ice bar in Queenstown! Lois made it one to remember, she was so helpful and told us exactly what the experience would involve and it met every expectation! We will definitely be back for round 2 in the New Year and will be choosing a time when Lois is working as her cocktails were delicious!! You definitely have to visit this bar if you visit Queenstown.

Drinks were yum! Brendon was super helpful with preparing us before the chill he also added a bonus showing off his dance skills (in the corner) haha. Was a cool little experience.

What a fantastic experience! I was blown away by the detail in the ice, as it speaks to the time invested into making a beautiful and unique atmosphere to have a few drinks in. In addition, the staff was so kind and attentive. Brandon and Lois were friendly, jovial, and very open to chatting with a silly tourist visiting Queenstown. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and recommend you check it out!

We were lucky enough to arrive here at happy hour so we only had to pay for the cocktails, which started at $10 so we’re pretty good value.
We were given gloves and think hooded coats on arrival before going down into the bar, that is well below freezing, so you needed the gloves to be able to hold your glass that was actually made of ice. The cocktails were good & when you are too cold & you have to leave you get to smash your glass in a bucket! We probably stayed for about 45 mins (2 drinks) and that was about right, as my fingers were going numb!
If you haven’t been to an ice bar before I would recommend it as probably only
Something you would do once. The Duty Manager Brandon was really nice and the rest of the staff we met were friendly and helpful too.

A group of 10 attended the Icebar in October, the staff were friendly and it was easy to find. Definitely a must do in Queenstown

The ice bar is a novel change to usual tourist attractions. To stand in minus 8 degrees and have cocktails in a small room where everything is made of ice, including your glass, was a fun and novel experience. It is a 1 hour experience if you can last that long in the room.
