A special trip back into the past, walking around the grave sites of the early settlers. Their stories marked out on aging and faded head stones tell of their lives, families, occupations and deaths. Who says history is dull when you can read so much...More

Pass by the cemetery when going to the Skyline Gondola. A quiet place and a nice view too. Able to see towards the lake area and the snow mountain.

This is the most amazing but small cemeteries i have visited, its very old and historic head stones are worded in very old English wording. It truly is a must see, it wont take long to walk through but it is worth a visit.

We stumbled on this cemetery after coming down from the gondola. Wow, there are a lot of Irish immigrants buried in this cemetery! I'm Irish, so I found it to be very interesting to see what parts of Ireland they came from.

Always interesting to explore a cemetery with so much history to be seen here on tombstones. Beautifully cared for and nestled on the side of Queenstown Hill right near the Gondola and Kiwi Birdlife.

Some very old gravestones. Many of the sailors and their families, think the oldest grave I saw was dated around 1860.
