Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wasn't sure if I could handle the g's but the flight went well and was a lot of fun. Alex the pilot started the stunts off gradually and ended up spinning the plane in some crazy directions.

Very helpful and accomodating crew.
Clearly all seasoned and professional pilots.
Kazul my Japanese pilot spoke perfect English and made
sure I got my sizable frame in the plane safely.
The flight itself can be as violent or gentle as you prefer
there is a simple set of hand signals used to instruct
your pilot if you are happy getting too much fun or not enough fun.
I would go again for sure can't recommend this enough to any
aviation buff.
There is the line about the old pilots and the bold pilots but
no old and bold pilots. The beauty of these specialised planes
is the pilot can perform intensely fun maneouvers I can't do justice
to describing flying through a snowcloud upside down and backwards
an intense mix of zen and adrenalin simultanously delivered.
They can make you a DVD of the experience which just having watched mine and
it's likely to be very entertaining deciphering the faces you are making as
you are upside down and going through a 360 degree barell roll :)

This flight should be on everyones "to do list" when you visit Queenstown. Most people go skydiving and bungy jumping but this awesome flight is the best experience you can have. Not only do you experience the high adrenalin flight, feeling the G force on your body while completing unbelievable manoeuvres, you also get to see the magnificent scenery of the mountains and the lake. Get the video of your flight so you can show it off to all your mates. It will leave a smile on your face for days and an experience you'll never forget!!

Think of a rollercoaster ride high up in the sky surrounded by Queenstown's majestic mountains, the Frankton Arm of lake Wakatipu glistening below. There are no rails though, instead you're strapped into the the cockpit of an electric blue Pitts Special aerobatics plane piloted by the steady hands of Kazu Iwamoto.
I couldn't help but grin from ear-to-ear while Kazu threw the powerful little bi-plane into a series of expert loops, rolls and corkscrews. Feeling the blood start drain from by head as the Gs increased going into and coming out of loops was intense. At no point was I close to losing consciouness however. This was a good thing because the views from the various orientations of the aircraft were astounding. Hanging from the air harness, looking down (up?) at the lake and mountains with Kazu flying the inverted Pitts Special is not a feeling I will forget any time soon!
The pick up service from Queenstown was very convenient and all the staff were lovely to talk to. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. I'm sure flights would even be tailored to those with slightly weaker stomachs ;)
Cheers!

One of the best attractions to do in Queenstown.
Such an amazing feeling. There are no words to describe what an amazing experience these flights are. If you ever have wanted to Aerobatic there is no better place to make it happen. You cannot beat the views you get from frying over Queenstown Frankton, they are simply breathtaking. Best experience with the Best views.Thank you so much.
