To be honest, any time of the year is great, it really depends on what is happening with the weather on the day. Obviously, we can't predict the weather, so we do recommend you make your flight booking in advance and at the beginning of your Queenstown itinerary. If we cannot fly due to adverse weather, we can transfer your booking to another available day or if you would prefer, we will refund you in full if your flight is cancelled due to weather. The Milford Extended is an amazing flight - it is one of our most recommended Milford Flights & is likely to be the highlight of your time in New Zealand. This flight is away for two and a half hours & includes three landings: Milford Sound, West Coast beach and Mt Tutoko Glacier. We also fly through Milford Sound (high above the cruise boats). Hi there, Absolutely - we offer courtesy pick up and drop off from the centre of Queenstown or from your accommodation. Just let us know where you are staying at the time of booking and in your booking confirmation we will include where you need to be and at what time for your pick up. Hi there, all our helicopters hold 6 x passengers plus the pilot. The pilot must decide where every passenger will sit based on individual passenger weights. This is for aircraft weight and balance purposes so we cannot guarantee any seats, ultimately it is up to the pilot on the day. Hi Nikki, our 20 minute Remarkables flight is $230 & is an alpine landing for approx 10 minutes. Other options you might be interested in is our 30 minute Alpine Scenic flight including a 10 minute snow landing ($330 per person) or our Glacier Explorer 50 minute flight including a 10 minute glacier ladning ($540 per person).
