Ziptrek Ecotours is NZ's #1 Original Zipline tour and is a spectacular eco-adventure through the forest canopy high above Queenstown, situated on Skyline Gondola hill. Ziptrek runs all year round and is stunning whatever the weather. With two tours to choose from it is suitable for everyone, whether looking for an introduction into Queenstown adventure (Moa 4-Line Tour) or wanting the latest gripping eco-exhilaration (Kea 6-Line Tour) which includes the steepest tree to tree zipline in the world.

Really good activity. Always felt safe but they encouraged us to have fun with the zip lines and taught about the environment in a fun and engaging way. I've forgotten the guides name - I think Ash from India and a lovely blonde lady from Holland I think? They were really excellent and really funny. Our group was the right... More

Everyone there was nice and friendly. After each line we had a small talk about eco issues. If you do it you must do the 6 line as the last one was the best. A great trip altogether.

Had a great time on this tour, really informative guides, learnt lots about the local area! The last 2 ziplines on the 6 line tour are really the best, 1 is super long (the largest tree to tree line i believe) and one of the lines gives you an amazing view of queenstown as the trees clear and you are... Hi Liam T, Thanks for the fantastic review! Delighted to hear you had such a great time. We run two different tours- the Moa 4 Line Tour and the Kea 6 Line Tour. You are right in saying that the 6th line on the Kea is super long, however it's fame comes from being the steepest tree to tree zipline... More

Learn about the environment while ziplining. Sam and Ash were fantastic guides. Do the 6 line. The last one is not as scary as you may think.

We took a zip line tour through the woods at Queenstown, New Zealand. Plan on a 3.5 hour tour, rain or shine. Ziptrek is not affiliated with the Gondola Ride or entertainment at the Hill. You will need to seek out their web site for specific details. You will not be disappointed. We have taken several Zip line tours, and... More

Hi Randy D, Thanks so much for your awesome 5 star review! Your review really captures all of what Ziptrek is about! We do indeed operate in all weather conditions and even in slightly gloomier weather, the canopy of the trees provides good shelter from the elements. I will pass on your review to Lily and Jess. Our guides are... More

Everyone was very nice and professional on the tour, the small lectures on basic eco issues was a little annoying. It's kind of nestled where it's super touristy so it's not deep in the woods anywhere. Also, you will end your trip at the bottom of mountain, so if you pay for skyline, make sure you do the luge first... More

Hi njhassinger, Thank you for coming zipping with us. Our check-in Treehouse is at the top of the Gondola hill and can by accessed either by taking the Gondola or by walking the Tiki Trail. Like you mentioned, our Kea 6 Line Tour starts at the top of the Gondola Hill and finishes at the bottom so, for guests who... More

I've done zip line tours in Argentina and Alaska. This one exceeded all my prior experiences. Everything taken care of by great guides. No need to brake making this very easy. Upside down and hands free zip line experiences were amazing and the views were incredible from every vantage point! Well worth it!

This was so much fun! We had a fantastic time with fun, friendly and knowledgeable guides and with good safety procedures of these massive flying-foxes. The tour also included interesting information about the history of the local environment and the great conservation work Ziptrek is undertaking.

Let me start by saying the operators did an outstanding job of running this, they were friendly, ensured it was safe, and made it fun. That being said I actually was rather bored, having done zip-lining in a few other countries, I had high expectations here, and they were not really met. If you havn't done this type thing before,...
