This was my first time paragliding and couldn’t recommended G-Force enough. Not only were the views absolutely incredible on a clear sunny day, but the pilots were brilliant and definitely added to the experience. I had Georges, and he brought good humour and fun to the experience. All of the staff were very reassuring for those flying for the first time and the pictures made for great mementos.

Absolutely loved this. Incredible views and an exhilarating experience that will get your heart rate up. My guide was George and he was in total control the entire time and took excellent photos and video. I highly recommend the experience.

It was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed the fly, especially the instructor made a few swings in the sky before landing - that was sooo good! The support staff is super responsive to any of my enquiries. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience paragliding! No need to prebook when we went, just showed up and we got to go straight away. The experts were really nice and reassuring. We were up for a good amount of time and got to do some tricks! the views over Queenstown are beautiful, if you want to go this is definitely the place! Bought the photos/videos they took while we were up there, although they were a bit pricey, but worth it for the memories.

30 years after our last visit to Queenstown, finally got to try tandem paragliding. It was a great experience, with a couple of caveats. The pilot was super ... friendly, professional ... everything was spot on ... couldn't be faulted. The flight was great, unlike anything I'd done before ... a real buzz. The only question ... $80 for flight photos seemed a bit of gold plating, on top of $299 for the flight, plus $50 for the gondola ... and the word of advice ... for that amount of cash make sure you only choose to go on a sunny/warm day, to increase your chances of picking up some thermals and gaining a bit of extra flight time. My pilot was fantastic, and found all the lift there was to be found, but $430 for less than 10 minutes makes the $650 fly/cruise trip to Milford Sound amazing value ... 2x1 hour+ mountain flights plus a 2 hour boat cruise ... I know which one I am recommending to friends. The paragliding was a once-in-a-lifetime experience ... just wish it had been longer.

Is there an age or weight (minimum) limitations for paragliding ?
Hi, is the price includes pickup and dropoff?
We operate from the top of the Skyline Gondola . The Gondola is a seperate company and you will need to pay to go up , we do however give you a stamp to return back up there once you have flown !

So I understand that you have to buy a gondola ticket in addition to the paragliding experience. Where can you purchase a reasonable priced ticket? Does GForce sell them at a discount?
Kia Ora Becky, that is correct as we are separate businesses. If you purchase the gondola tickets you can also come back up after the flight if you choose :)

Did you have to buy the pictures and/or videos? How much were they? Just trying to be prepared. There are 6 of us going. :)
Kia Ora, the video and photo package is $60. Your pilot will show you them at the end of the flight and you can decide then if you would like purchase them!

Yes it was free to go back up. This was also in case you needed to leave your bag or companions up the mountain.

Yes. But to go up the first time you must pay your ticket.
How much air time do you get?
Hi Linda, for the whole paragliding experience you should allow 1-2 hours. Our air time is typically 8-10 minutes and we can tailor the type of flight you’d like, whether it be a relaxing scenic glide down or an adrenaline filled, acrobatic flight (which are usually slightly shorter).
I would like an email to contact the company directly. The one on the GForce website doesn't work and it keeps rejecting.

Skippers Canyon half day tour. Absolutely amazing. Can include a jet boat element but suggest you do Buller Gorge one instead if you're in that area, as it's the best one by far.
