Our first adventure was a full day rock climb with our guide Neil up past Glenorchy. Amazing rock faces and great views from the height. Neal was an awesome guide, friendly and very knowledgeable about the surroundings.

Our second adventure mountaineering up the Remarkables was a memory never to be forgotten. Paired with Neal and Chris we pushed through the elements to witness the spectacular views. There was everything from sun, wind and snow. Definitely for the adventurous!

Thanks Neal, Chris and Climbing Queenstown for the adventure of a lifetime!

Had an absolutely brilliant day rock climbing with Neal in an absolutely stunning location with the lake behind us! I felt so safe the whole time and Neal is a great coach, always knowing the right thing to say to help me keep on climbing. He seemed to know every inch of each climb!

I had climbed a little before but my girlfriend never really had but there was loads of climbs from easy to difficult so we could find the right level for each of us. It was great to feel like we were really out there having an adventure for ourselves as there wasn´t many other people at the crag.

It was so great getting to the top of the climbs aslo and then looking around to see the view! It was definitely the best thing we did in Queenstown! Couldn´t recommend it enough!

This has to be a must do in every trip to New Zealand! The Via Ferrarta in particular is a unique , fun, adventurous experience!. Neal and his team Donal and Lucy, were fabulous, taking care of their clients in a discreet but thoroughly professional way...you feel entirely safe yet challenged just a little in their hands....with a fair dose of Irish humour thrown in for free. :-) If you think you've done everything Queenstown has to offer......you've not !..One of THE best days of my entire 6 weeks!

Climbing Queenstown gave me a perfect introduction to mountaineering. I went for a three-day course with Neal the operations manager. Climbing Queenstown was able to set me up for the course with very short notice and before I knew it I was with my crampons and ice axe in the snow. Neal was very professional, friendly and flexible. He was able to adjust the climbing to my skill level and on the 2nd day we successfully summited the highest point in the Remarkables - The Single Cone. Neal had a constant eye on me the client and the conditions in the mountains, always making sure that the climb was safe.
This was such a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wants an amazing alpine experience.

One of my best days eveh! I had no idea abt climbing before this and i wanted to check it out while I'm in queenstown. Our guide was Mr Paul a very experienced and a great guide. I was in a small group, me and an experienced french climber. So had plenty if try outs. As rookie Paul explained everything i need to know step by step. Fallen few times got some bruises and and was great fun. Now im really in to rock climbing :) .
So highly recommend if ur an adrenaline junkie. And go for the full day well worth it .

Via Ferrara with Climbing Queenstown was amazing!! Did this with my partner who loves adrenaline and an exciting challenge while I love getting close to nature and doing something I didn't think I could (without being scared totally out of my wits) - Via Ferrata was perfect for us both!! I got to experience what its like to do big multi pitch climbs.. but was safely clipped in so perfect for me.. got some incredible views of Queenstown too!! He got to do some amazing abseiling - left us both buzzing!

One of the best things about this trip was the guide Jenny - she is an absolute fountain of queenstown knowledge and gave us so many brilliant tips about the area - we had brilliant camping, hiking and eating experiences after this that were down to the local knowledge she was happy to share with us!

There are a lot of big expensive things to do in Queenstown but felt like the via Ferrata with climbing Queenstown gave us a local experience and personal service with just as much adrenaline and buzz as the big attractions!!!

Our Trip to Queenstown was highlighted with the Via Ferata traverse/climb just outside the main town but still overlooking the lake with the Remarkables in the distance (SPECTACULAR)
Not knowing what to expect, our guides Jenny and Neal, got us super excited about what we were in for, and it really was an incredible experience. Tough going, but super safe, and under excellent tutelage, it was truly an exciting and exhilarating adventure.

I recently went on a Via Ferreta trip with Climbing Queenstown. The group was just myself and a friend of mine, who is rather afraid of heights so was somewhat uneasy going into the trip. Our guide Jenny was amazing, really supportive for my friend and super knowledgable about the history of Via Ferreta and Queenstown. I am a reasonably experienced rock climber so I wasn't sure how much of challenge this trip would be for me. It surpassed all my expectations, more of a journey for me. I would recommend this trip to anyone in Queenstown. It would be great for groups as I feel there's something for everyone to enjoy. Great job Jenny and Climbing Queenstown

Highly recommend the kayak and Cliff Rock climb option offered by Climbing Queenstown this combines two fantastic experiences all in the one package. The one on one tour that i participated in was an awesome trip that offers a totally diffrent aspect and dimension to rock climbing! For starters - Kayaking to a cliff then climbing up snd down various cliff faces was both exciting and challenging. Neal is a great instructor and taught me some new rope handling techniques. Absolutely fantastic experience surrounded by the most beautiful surroundings!
