it's an expensive cocktail but it is worth a visit, you will only do it once but it is rather unique. We spent 30 minutes in minus 12 degrees and gobbled down a few cocktails, even the glasses are made of ice...

I have never been to an ice bar and thought that $32 was a little rich to get in and get one vodka based drink, however it is something you just have to do- and you can say you have done it! The sculptures were...More

If you have never done this before (like us) it was absolutely worth the 15NZ to go in for 30 minutes and be surrounded by ice. We purchase discount tickets online for this one...always trying to save a few bucks! They have one of these...More

The Minus 5 bar was awesome! How often do you get to a bar where everthing is ice? The cup was ice, the bar was ice, the seats were ice and the sculputres were ice. We went there in April/May 2010 when they were having...More

You can take children with you, I imagine they would have to be old enough to be ok with the cold temperatures, the kids will just get a mocktail at the bar.
