Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such a great memorial to see and walk through, it is not that hard to find as it is on the lake front and you can walk through it so im sure some people would miss it

There is a rock arch engraved with names which is located on the foreshore to the beach/harbour, near the main town centre and between Queenstown Gardens. A fair tribute, solemn and somber reminder, that is not extravagant, which felt fitting.

It is not a must see and I would imagine that 99% of people would walk through on the way to the park and not even notice it. It has th he names of the fallen at war and a sign to explain. Small piece of NZ history.

It shows the names of all who served and then those that did not make it home.
It was placed on the site as it had lovely birch trees, be a prominent place and would remind not only the Q'Town community of the terrible sacrifices, but tourists as well.
Stop by and commemorate the fallen soldiers who fought bravely to preserve our freedoms we have today.
RIP the fallen, we will remember them, lest we forget.
God bless the ANZAC spirit.
