Worst customer service. I booked with this team and realised my error immediately after booking and msgd them, they responded and when they found out I was actually looking for a different company with a very similar name they said they couldn't provide a credit or refund and they had a strict 7day refund policy and not 24hrs as stated here. Try Winehopper instead of these guys they were amazing! You know what a company thinks of its customers when it doesn't go smoothly.

The tour was good, nice places to visit. Unsure if it’s just me who found it super confusing with how it worked alongside the timetable and I assumed there would be something small included for the price but it was just the bus fare. It says there’s discounts for some places but I felt as though for what we did there was no benefits. If you pick certain locations it affects you seeing others with the way the timetable work. So if you have a rental car it would be easier to go to the places yourself with no time restraints. Despite this we still had a good time. And the places and food was great.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the tour. You are right, the timetable does need a bit of pre organising as venues can fill up quite quickly. We drive our runs in a certain order to maximise the client time at each venue. Hopefully, you used your wristband to unlock some discounts?

It was a perfect way to explore Marlborough region and the wineries. The driver was knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend hop on hop off wine tours for the options of stops they have. We hopped off several stops and had an amazing mix of experiences from Aviation museum, beautiful art gallery to delightful meal and wine tasting in 3 different wineries. Would definitely explore Nelson and Queenstown with them next time.

I went on the Hop on Hop off tour with 5 friends and had a great afternoon. We booked the night before and it was easy with the booking process. Our bus driver was lovely (don’t know her name but she was from Czech) and she told us many stories and was fun and easygoing. You have the choice of lots of locations, we went to Arrowtown, Amisfield and Gibson Valley winery. The only thing was it would have been great to have a bit more time at each. Overall it was a wonderful day and a cost-effective for young travellers wanting the wine tour experience without doing a pre-organised tour at $200 minimum. Thanks so much for an awesome day!

Lore our lovely driver was absolutely first class, super nice, friendly and helpful re places and quality of the fare .. top class tour , commentary and took opus to the breweries and cheeseeries we were keen to see as well as a guide to the wineries for another time. Am recommending to friends visiting q town from Wellington soon

The drivers went out of there way to make sure we had a great day, one even looped back and missed his lunch break to drop us at another spot! The older gentlemen driver who’s name I can’t remember also said it was no bother for us to be dropped at Arrowtown at the end. We squeezed in 6 places in the half day in the end. The dispatch lady could have been a bit more friendly but we imagine it’s a stressful job!

We were after an easy hop on hop off tour but it ended up being quite difficult. Drivers didn’t let us get off the bus if we didn’t have a booking despite ringing ahead at some places. Made it to two wineries in the afternoon so it wasn’t great value for money.

Hello, we document when and where people get off and we have not had one person only do two locations in the last three months? You created this to write this review again a false review. For anyone else reading this if your are travelling on our buses you will need to be booked for Kinross only. :)

To see as many venues as you can you need to plan ahead and limit your time to 40 minutes at each location. Having said that we enjoyed the view and experience at one location so much we stayed double the time. We had a lovely time and compared experiences with others. Apparently Broken Heart Gin Garden was popular but we missed that experience. Always another time!

Super easy to get around, a lovely way to see the wine region. A bus comes around regularly so you can move to different venues or stay and relax at a few. Lots of fun

We booked the Hop on Hop off bus and spent the day going between the different wineries. Amazing way to see what Queenstown has to offer. The team are so friendly and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back, highly recommend this company - they truly look after you.

Hi guys just a question for those that have done the full day. What’s the best stops? I was thinking Amisfield, wet jacket then maybe gibbston valley for lunch/ platter then perhaps my Rosa and or Brennan wines. Is this too many or about right? Thanks in advance. I’m trying to google the wineries now

We stay near Frankton Marina, where is the best pickup location? Do we have to travel with the bus to Queenstown and wait for the same bus to start a new loop? It shows on your route map that Peregrine is included (stop 8), can you confirm?

Hi, the best stop is at the Marina Heights Bus Stop. We can pick you up from there and there we pick up the rest of the people from town and start the run.
We are not doing Peregrine anymore but we have Stoneridge on our run :)

Where does Stonebridge fit into the itinerary as it’s not on the map or schedule? I’d love to go but just planning as want to book Amisfield for lunch. Also I’m assuming I’d need to pre-BookIt Gibbston if I wanted to do a wine cave tour. Tx

Hi yes Stoneridge is after Gibbston Valley but you walk across from Amisfield and go back and catch the bus there. Yes you do have to pre book cave tour. Thanks HOHO

Hi Kate, first bus leaves Queenstown 10 and and last bus comes back 5.15 but buses run back to Queenstown every 45 mins. If you check out map for Queenstown on Hop on Hop off wine tours website. Thanks
