Once again the guys at 4x4 adventures did not disappoint, this is the 5th time we have adventured with the team 3x with the quads and now 2x with the SxS. Our guide for the crazy afternoon was Connor who is very clearly passionate about his job and making your experience the best it can be. There were up’s there were downs and around & rounds there was mud (a lot of mud), rocks, forests, cliffs and everything in between. If you decide to go on an adventure with this crew and do not believe it’s the best quad or SxS adventure around I’m going to need you to check your pulse. I have done quads in Australia, America, Mexico, Hawaii & Bali and Scott,Connor & the guys are the best in the business. The adventures are tailored to your ability’s and they will split you into groups of similar skill levels which makes for a an awesome time. I can say with 100% certainty that we will be booking again when we come back. Myself my wife (40’s) and our son (17) rate this 10/10

We had the best fun with Matt today doing a buggy tour. We took our 9 year old son and 10 year old daughter. Matt was an awesome tour guide. He was fab with the kids and he made sure my husband was driving the Buggy safely and correctly before we set off. We followed him up and down ridges on some fabulous tracks the company have set up. Through trees and up to two amazing lookouts with the best views of the lakes and mountains.
Such a professional company who met us at their office and drove us to the site. A family run business where good service is still a priority. Matt took photos for us on the day and emailed them to us on the day for no extra cost.
If you are looking for a family activity while in Queenstown then I highly recommend booking a trip.

Great adventure. They took a lot of care over our level of ability and it was clear that safety was paramount. Fantastic views, equipment was well maintained and instructors/guides were very much part of our trip. The family members, work on and in the business fully recommend to all levels and ages.

We had booked a guided tour with a buggy and were lucky enough to be the only ones in the group. Our guide Sam drove a buggy and I drove one, my wife and daughter on board.
Really great experience: Good introduction, great routes, great viewpoints and Sam has additionally told a lot about Queenstown and the surrounding area.
Highly recommended!

Thoroughly recommend these self drive buggy tours if you’re in Queenstown. A great adrenaline buzz driving on forest tracks that look impossible but the buggies handle with ease. With decent climbs, steep drops, mud banks, twists and turns this trip will give even seasoned drivers a thrill while also taking you to some remarkable scenic points. We were in a 2 seater but 4 seater version also available for families.

We went out on the buggies for a tour with Dennis and Lachey and it was brilliant. These guys seriously know their stuff- the landscape, the wild life, history and their machines. We felt so safe but yet had so much fun hitting the tracks hard!
The guys are really hospitable and easy going yet you just feel they are switched on and in control.
Highly recommend Off Road Adventures for a thrill seeking, sight seeing experience! 10/10!

From beginners to experienced riders, they offer a great experience. We started on the intermediate tracks to get comfortable and then they took us to more adventurous tracks and had a blast on the curves, bumps, and jumps. They even had smaller vehicles for my 2 children to ride and they took them through the beginner program before the guides determined their readiness to go on the more challenging tracks.

The entire buggy trip today(10/7/2020)was well above our expectations. Our tour guide Scott was awesome. Would recommend this trip to anyone. We will definitely be back. Cheers, Chris & Brenda

This is a review of a dirt bike guided tour , not quad or atv.
Did the two hour off road dirt bike guided tour. Matt was guide. Sam was responsive and helpful on email and booking in person.
Not many places in the World will rent and guide Dirt bike rentals. If this is your thing…do it here. Do not miss. I suspect there is not alot of money to be made doing this, so the owners/operators do it because they love it. The experience was a ten. Matt is awesome. Extra time given due to late guests and some drop struggles. Trip of a lifetime. Do it. I say again…do it

Skip the website and call them directly I reckon. They fit us in last minute and the amount of guides and bikes they have shouldn't be an issue. 2 tours a day too....

Yeah I would say time doesn't really matter! Weather would be the main aspect to consider. We went in the afternoon the day after it had rained and that was considered perfect by the guys running it. If it is too dry, the bikes kick up alot of dust and that takes away from the ride. Puddles are a great addition to the track so don't be scared off by rain!

Thanks for getting in touch, the minimum age to ride their own little kids quad bike is 6 years old so unfortunately there is nothing we can offer that could accommodate having a 3 year old onsite. Cheers, Gary

Thanks for your enquiry, our quad bike tours run at 9am & 1pm with our dirt bike tour running at 1pm daily. Our quad tours don't require any experience however for the dirt bike tours you must have off road dirt bike riding experience. You can check all our live availability online on our website.
