    Hillside relaxation to the max!
Firstly, the experience of the hot tub was amazing…exactly what we needed after a massive 2 week holiday in north and south NZ. John was very easy to deal with via email…booking a breeze, directions and further information straight forward. We thoroughly recommend this service!!!!

    Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience! We had a great time here. We chose the Cliffside pool. Loved everything about the experience. Clean and tidy change and toilet room. Easy walking path to the pool. Everything was well thought out. Amazing views! I would do this again and try the other pool, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a hot pool experience in Queenstown.

    A hidden gem in Queenstown!
The views from the cliff side tub at Hot Tub on the Hillside are incredible. John is so helpful in his communication, very responsive with clear directions/ instructions provided. We had perfect weather and the experience was one of the best things we did on our trip. A hidden gem in Queenstown!

    Wonderful & Beautiful!
Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful view of the lake and mountains whilst taking a dip in the hot tub. Surrounded by the sound of nature (swans, duck and sheep), it's your own slice of quiet paradise! Communication with John the owner was easy, and he provides clear instructions to the hot tub. This will definitely be a special experience to try out when you are in Queenstown.

The best experience in Queenstown. Happy we found this when looking for a hot pool to relax in. "Check in" experience was well detailed and you do feel like you are left alone / very private. Location is picturesque.

The temperature that it was set too was perfect for us as it was not too hot whilst the sun was up.

The fact you can bring your own picnic is a great benefit compared to other spots. There is a UE Boom, umbrella hats, towels, glasses and water all provided which allow you to enjoy your stay.

Would 100% book this again if we visit Queenstown again.

Excellent booking platform, easy & efficient.
Directions to find were spot on although a trick for beginners was taking the gold gate pathway to the lower tub & should’ve gone further up the hill to the red gate - our fault!
The view is 360 degree magnificent. We went at 5pm to watch the sunset & see the stars come out. 3hrs is a perfect time frame in my view as the latest possible time slot.
The inclusions are perfect, sparking water towels etc. Heating via gas is amazing, In minutes 39 degrees bliss.
When reading this review you may be weighing up other options like Onsen. No comparison. This is the true outdoor quintessential kiwi experience.
Enjoy - we’ll certainly be back !

Had an amazing afternoon in the hot tub. Great views and great tub!
The communication is excellent - prompt and clear, and we were allowed to enter the tub earlier because it was already available. Highly recommended.

What a great experience ! We loved it, such a relaxing afternoon. The scenery is stunning, looking over the lake and towards Coronet Peak. We sat back and relaxed for 3 hours, enjoying the serenity of the place. We haven’t met John, but feel like we know him !! He was really quick to respond with details and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend to friends and will be back again next time we are in Queenstown. Thanks John

An amazing afternoon was spent by our family of 5. An easy place to find with easy directions provided by the host, John. A peaceful location, soaking in warm water and just taking in the wonderful mountain and hillside views. A very different tourist activity but we are certainly glad we did it. John (the host) communicated well and this is an activity we would recommend to try out as something unusual but very special. We would do again.

Booked this as a different hot tub experience. John was fantastic in helping to organise and provided all relevant details, as well as setting up the hot tub prior to our arrival. Was treated to spectacular afternoon weather overlooking Lake Johnson and up towards Coronet Peak. Would recommend bringing some extra snacks to enjoy over 2-3 hours. Will definitely visit again next time we visit Queenstown. Thanks again!

An absolutely stunning adventure!! Such a beautiful setting with everything thought of, towels, speaker, wine glasses, sun hats etc. Private and secluded 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Frankton but you cant hear it other than the occassional plane.
Communication was fantastic. Everything was ready when we arrived and was private and didnt see the hosts which was beautiful.

I highly recommend allowing yourself the pleasure of this experience.

What an epic spot! This was a surprise trip for my partner which made it a bit of fun driving through a seemingly random farm. We decided to take a cheese platter along for lunch and really enjoyed the flexibility of arriving in our own time and not feeling like we're stuck to a schedule. Best kept secret of Queenstown.

Take sunscreen if it's a nice day!! Easy to get some winter colour in the sun.

Very relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Great views over the lake and well maintained tub. We took a wine and cheese picnic which we enjoyed having overlooking such nice scenery. John was very prompt with all correspondence and gave very good instructions on how to get there and it was great that there was a wide ranging time frame.
I would highly recommend this for couples.
