Absolutely fantastic! A must do when you’re visiting Queenstown. From the very moment I met Sarah, she made our entire group feel instantly welcomed. She is so warm, kind, friendly- just an outstanding guide and host. (Seriously, top notch!)In addition, the hike is absolutely spectacular and the picnic lunch at the top was a highlight. Our group was also lucky and we saw a herd of mountain goats while on the hike- SO COOL! It was so evident that Sarah went above and beyond to make this tour extra special for our group, I cannot recommend this enough! DO IT!

Had a great time with Sarah during our hike on the outskirts of Arrowtown. She was very informative and thoughtful and this hike was just what I was looking for. I wasn't feeling up to a full day hike so this half day option was perfect for me. We saw some beautiful scenery and learnt some of the history of the area and had a picnic lunch which Sarah brought along. It was such a beautiful spot to stop at too. There was just myself and two other visitors. I like small group activities so this was ideal. The track was one the locals use. I'd definitely recommend Queenstown Hikes.

What a great way to spend some time in Queenstown. After something different having visited before Sarah was a fantastic host who showed us some real kiwi back country. A glorious day with some challenging terrain our legs certainly know about it now. Nothing a spa and a glass of pinto won’t fix!! The picnic lunch in the top was great. Thoroughly recommend.

This experience was 5/5 stars in every regard. Sarah, our guide and co-founder of Queenstown Hikes, was just lovely. She made sure to cater our hike to what we were looking for and took us off the beaten path up into the mountains above Arrowtown (right outside Queenstown). She is experienced, energetic, knowledgeable, and genuine. She thought through every detail - including carrying hot water in a thermos during the whole hike just so we could enjoy some tea at the top while we took in the breathtaking views! I was hesitant about hiring a hiking guide because I am a fairly experienced hiker and there are hundreds of trails right around Queenstown, but it was 100% worth it to go with a guide for this special, off the beaten path experience. I recommend this experience to everyone who is visiting Queenstown, no matter what your hiking level is. Queenstown Hikes won’t disappoint!

I enjoyed every moment of my hike in Arrowtown with Sarah. After the hike, we also had nice cups of tea and some snacks while appreciating the breathtaking views of the alpine landscape. I also got to learn about native plants and the history of Arrowtown. I would strongly recommend the tour to anyone coming to Queenstown.
