We had a wonderful experience at The Winery in Queenstown NZ In a quiet and comfortable setting, there were 100's of wines to taste from New Zealand. We ordered a beautiful cheese tray and then began our tasting. Helped by friendly and knowledgeable staff, we enjoyed whites and reds in a cozy environment with soft rock playing in the background.... More

This place is definitely worth visiting if you like wine. Coming from Australia where we have a fantastic choice of world class wines at reasonable prices I have been a bit shocked at the price of wine in New Zealand so to be able to taste a wide variety for reasonable prices was quite welcome. Plonk your credit card behind... More

Wonderful way to spend an hour or more especially if it's raining. So many great wines to choose from you could spend a whole day. They do have some cheese and things to try as well. The atmosphere is great, cozy and you can keep to yourself or visit with others.

This was a great find in the heart of Queenstown. Such a great opportunity to taste lots of fantastic wines whilst relaxing in a calm and pleasant atmosphere, away from the Adrenalin activities that dominate the area. The cheese platter is good too to accompany your wine. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

It was too much wines and cheese for my husband and myself. Should have done the walk-in instead of advanced booking, so that we can share the credits and order a small cheese platter instead. However definitely a good place to taste a wide variety of wine.

A perfect place to while away an afternoon, with seating inside and out. Inside had comfy arm chairs, perfect to relax in. The system was so easy and whilst we tried a good range of wines, it worked out so much cheaper than we thought. You balance is displayed each time you use your card so easy to keep tabs.... More

Good way to taste a wide variety of wine. Very easy to spend a lot if you don't keep an eye on your card value. The opportunity to try expensive wines/whiskies that you would not normally find.

What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Right in the centre of Queenstown, so no bus or car journeys required to visit an individual winery. A lovely cheese platter to go with the wines we tasted and so much choice. Self-service with a card so you can choose the quantity you would like to taste from each... More

Good set up to taste a bunch of wines at your own pace with limited "interference". You control the quantity and it's priced accordingly. Staff are friendly and as helpful as you need them to be. I'd go back to try more wines.
