I love love love the Canyons Swing. I have jumped about 10 times. My first time was in 2008. I jumped once and loved it so much that I wanted to do 2 more jumps - there was a... read more

The guys who work here are amazing! They're so funny and daring you to do the different jumps all the time so you don't have time to fret about what your actually doing. They did take 3 attempts to make me scream, but I am an adventure seeker and the first two jumps I did (the handstand, and gainer) just... More

I love love love the Canyons Swing. I have jumped about 10 times. My first time was in 2008. I jumped once and loved it so much that I wanted to do 2 more jumps - there was a special for your second jump. It was a great mix of scary and relaxing all at the same time. I have... More

One of the best things I did whilst in Queenstown. So much better than the bungee jump. Loads of fun and really beautiful down at the bottom of the canyon. The guys who run it are also awesome and really make it an excellent experience!

Forget Bunge Bridge. THIS IS AMAZING. Do it twice - at least. You'll only wish you did it a third time.

Having done the Bungy earlier in the week my family decided they were brave enough to tackle the Canyon Swing. Except for the person in town doing the booking the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. The jumpmaster Pinky and his crew were great and it was an unforgettable experience, so much so my 12 year son, 10 year old... More

If you are thinking about it...go for it. I did two jumps, the first one was a Backwards Tandem with my wife. It was a blast...3...2...1...GO and you are over the edge heading down. My second jump was a Pindrop....it was so much more exciting going feet first and watching yourself fall towards the river below. The guys running the... More

This is AWESOME! So scary and fun. As soon as I was done and they brought me back up to the platform I begged to go again!!! Don't miss it. And for those who stood on the platform wondering if you should go or not....THE ANSWER IS YES!!! Sad that this is so far away in New Zealand or I'd... More

The Shotover Canyon Swing is an over 300 feet drop before being swung out over the river below. The guides thoroughly enjoy their jobs and will taunt the rider the entire time. With supposedly over 70 different ways to jump the hardest thing is figuring out which way to go. As someone who is afraid of heights I chose to... More

OK, I'm 55. My son is 22. We have very different standards for the "thrill bar". Shotover Canyon Swing was the perfected solution. It was the best rush of our lives and because Shotover can tailor the jump and swing based upon your "fear factor" or need for "thrill". I was advised, the guys at the top will mess with... More
