Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I recently returned from a holiday in New Zealand, one of my stops was Queenstown. My wife and myself had a few days to spend in this beautiful town in south island, it's full of amazing things to do.
We had one evening free, so we decided to have early dinner and try some late night shopping. We were walking up through Queenstown Mall and came across this very well appointed store with really nice displays of local souvenirs and beautiful knitwear.
Aotea gifts Mall store on my card they gave me, it was truly an nice clean and spacious shop. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in every way.
We decide to look around at the knit wear, Kapeka was the name, so many designs and lots of promotions. The Gentleman who served us was very informative and super friendly recommending many designs that he thought we would be interested in, so helpful.
My wife and I went away felling very happy, we had a smart jacket style jumper for myself and a nice cardigan for my wife.
If ever your passing pop in and check this store out, friendly, helpful and a super happy store would recommend it to anybody, worth a visit believe me.

I went into Aotea Gifts shop on Ballarat Street to get some last minute gifts for family and friends. The staff there were wonderful, friendly and helpful. I bought about $130 worth of items.
But the next day I wondered into the gift shop next door to get some magnets and found out that all the items I bought ( except for one this shop didn’t have) were much much cheaper at this shop than Aotea. I was left a little disappointed and wished I did compare prices before buying. So this is just a little review to tell tourist to check before you buy.

I was looking for Moroni Wool and Possum fur to bring back with me. I found the cutest items there with appropriate designs (Kiwi & Sheep) to purchase for family members. This product is rather expensive and the quality of their product seemed as good as the others I had investigated. I selected my items from this store based upon price. There was good service which was added value. I helped in finding just the right product and selection. I will return to this store in the future
