Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went in 5 minutes before the shop was due to close, knowing that we wanted to be quick.
We were met by Kevin “ the grump”.. he boldly told us to be quick as they were closing.. I mentioned that I knew we had 5 minutes to be to that we needed to hurry up because they needed to catch bus! When I questioned whether they needed to close earlier, he blamed the girls (staff) for needing to close.
Absolutely rude service!! As a visitor to the country, I won’t forget Kevin (W⚓️)

What to enter shop to buy family gifts prior to travelling home at 5:54
Customer service agent told me can't enter as he needed to shut shop at 6

5 mins I would have found what I wanted but just felt he was not interested in providing any customer service

I had been to the Aotea store 2 months ago and quite surprised that they have many nice products there. I brought some gifts for my family. They are running many promotions so you can have a certain discount if you buy more.

Store was great. Very patient staff told me about Manuka Honey and its benefits then showed me lots of other New Zealand produced products. Had multilingual staff who seemed very attentive to customers.

Beautiful shop with nice products, Highly recommended with different promotions, really help you save money! I can see Manuka honey is a very popular product, many people were asking about that honey. I also like the souvenirs there, nice quality, you have plenty of choice.

I found the same item I bought available for half price in another store in the mall. You expect some price difference but not that much! And of course there are no refunds.
Have a few friends visiting Queenstown later this year, will tell them to avoid this store at all costs.

Had sensational service from Nikki (Nicola) the duty manager. Had very good knowledge of the products, was very friendly, helpful and made the experience of shopping for friends and family easy and pain free. Very grateful for the way she made us feel welcome and would recommend her to anyone wanting a memory from their Queenstown visit. A credit to your company.

My son bought a wooden tiki ornament in here for $20 Went to the shop literally next door and found it for $13.
Exactly the same, in every way !!! Went back to the shop within 5mins of buying for a refund and store refused to refund. This shop is a disgraceful tourist trap! They should be ashamed of themselves and don’t believe their comments about competitive pricing and service , you will get better elsewhere !!
