For our 20th anniversary, I booked a flight cruise flight package to Milford sound with True South Flights. It was a surprise for my wife. The team at True South we’re fantastic in assuring with info and kept in coms about the weather. We took the midday flight, the pilot, Eric, met us in the briefing room, gave us some info on the flight and escorted us on a short walk across ten road to their well placed departure/parking spot. We were put on the Cessna Caravan, one of the bigger aircraft in their new and well looked after fleet. Eric was very friendly, informative and has a great way with the guests. Another thing that really impressed me about Eric and the True South team was that there was a couple, the husband was in a wheelchair, Eric kept the rear seats open for the couple, carrying him into and from the aircraft, the wheelchair folded up and kept in the cargo pod below.. really nice that this couple could also celebrate their anniversary by enjoying this trip.

We dropped into True South to check on our booking due to recent bad weather and flooding. We had booked for a Flight/Cruise/Flight the next day. We were told the weather wasn't going to be good and flooding had caused some issues. We were asked if we would like to go on a flight pretty much on the spot and be refunded for the cruise. We jumped at the chance!
The flight was amazing, Jason, our pilot, was so lovely. He was very informative and friendly, pointing out the many points of interest and his knowledge of the area was impressive.
We feel so lucky to have taken this flight, it was awesome!

The recent record rain has caused a lot of damage to Fiordland National Park. The road was badly damaged and boat terminal affected. I'm glad you took the opportunity to take a scenic flight over Aspiring and Fiordland National Park. This is once a life time experience seeing different glaciers and fiords with the ever changing landscape.

This is a must do if in queenstown True South Flights are a great helpful company we flew with an 11 month old no dramas. From the online booking to dealing with the staff to pilot everyone very professional with a bit of kiwi humor thrown in. We were blown away with what you see and how smooth the flight felt being a smaller plane highly recommended than you to all the staff at True South Flights from the Drummond family.

Great service from the very start - friendly confirmation call, easy check in, excellent experience overall. Our pilot Jason was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable, he took the time to make sure we got the most out of the experience and that we didn't miss any of the sights. We were also very impressed with his take off and landing; very smooth and comfortable.

I dont like small planes and the pilot made it look effortless landing on the smallest runway Ive ever seen (Milford). Great scenery, so close to the mountains you could almost touch the snow. Super friendly staff and pilot. Pickup from hotel on time. Great commentary during flight. Perfect weather, perfect staff, perfect pilot, ok plane. (im 6ft and 90 something kgs - recommend front or back seat). The scariest part is the bill - but its worth your every $. Top tip - avoid the curry house the night before :)

We booked the Fly / Boat / Fly for the long weekend whilst staying in Queenstown. The weather was not the best and our trip got pushed out from the Saturday to eventually getting the green light for Monday morning. The staff were amazing, kept our suitcases as we were flying out of Qtown that afternoon..... helped us drop our rental car off, waited for us on return with our cases and took us straight to the airport. The Milford flight and the boat trip were amazing and our pilots /skippers commentary was spot on and enjoyable. That scenery is world class, I will be going again !!

This trip was absolutely amazing. Very easy to book and well organised. The guys and girls arranging everything made it very easy and the whole day very enjoyable. The Views were stunning and lucky we had very clear weather. Highly recommend and the price was well worth it as all on the trip would have been happy to pay the full price.

Wow, the flight was amazing, best thing to do if your in Queenstown . Elliot our pilot was awesome with his commentary and knowledge of the stunning area we flew over enabling us to all get great shots .

Absolutely stunning views.
Our pilot Jason went above & beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, very knowledgeable and ensured we seen everything we wanted to.
Could not fault the whole experience. 100% recommend and will definitely do it again in the future!

We are kiwis having a backyard holiday, we could have never imagined we had such beautiful areas right here! First we jumped on a wee plane with about half a dozen other travellers and flew over the most spectacular mountain ranges. This part was piloted by Elliot, who obviously loves what he does and has a passion and knowledge for the area.. he pointed out amazing sites along the way.
Once in Milford we walked a short track around the fiords shore to the cruise terminal and boarded a juicy cruise. The cruise took about two hours on the water and showcased the Milford fiords most breathtaking spots. Once finished on the cruise we took another scenic flight back to queenstown with Elliot.
Highly recommend- a much quicker and scenic way to view this isolated part of the country.
