We spent a couple of hours wandering and just sitting and admiring the view. A great variety of gardens and there's even a frisbee section if you get the urge!

What an outstanding botanical garden this is . The tulips were amazing, lots of different colours and the trees were surreal. Gardner’s obviously love their job as it shows in their handiwork. We were in Queenstown for two weeks and we went for a couple...More

After having dinner in Queenstown, we walked along the lake and then entered the Queenstown Gardens at night. It was a lovely walk. There were fountains and sculptures. And of course, the view of part of Queenstown across the lake.

The garden is not too difficult for walking, hiking boots ideally but if they are too heavy, runners can be fine, lot of people go there for a run so stay on the tracks or walkways and she will be fine

Sorry. Stayed in a room with only one queen bed, so can't really help. Normally the hotels got a queen and single in a family room which works fine. Enjoy your trip. Queenstown is lovely!!
