Big trees dominate the park. Walkways meander in between the trees. Walk to the end to have a nice view of the harbor.

Nice walking if you have leisure time in Queenstown. Nicely combined with a dive in the lake and a coffee or beer in the nearby cafe. Entrance is free so good activity if you are on a low budget.

There is a lot to see and do here - there are tennis courts and frisbee golf targets. We enjoyed the Rose Garden and walking along the lake. Do remember your sunscreen on a sunny day as the path along the lake is not sheltered

Beautiful for a long stroll or to just sit and relax. The gardens are well looked after. There are a fee activities for kids to do and also places for quiet time. The trees are amazing!

The garden is about 1km from our motel and I have been there twice during our short stay in Queenstown. It's lovely to walk among the huge tall pines trees or along the shore of Lake Wakatipu. It's such a peaceful place, with a blooming...More

Beautiful roses and some great monument tributes to men who were inspirational and did amazing things either for Queenstown or who were originally from there. The walk is short and will accommodate strollers. Many rent bikes and continue on past the park for the lakeside...More

Lovely gardens in a central location. Great place for a walk before or after dinner/lunch. Beautiful views and roses. The frisby golf looks like a blast but unfortunately didn't have time for a round.

A great little spot to escape the busyness of Queenstown. The stroll along the lake is beautiful. We took stroll up throughout the whole garden then returned by the lakeside - very pleasant. Nice way to rejuvenate after a busy day.

Strolled through here after dinner. Nice relaxing walk and quite peaceful compared to the waterfront bars and main street

The garden is not too difficult for walking, hiking boots ideally but if they are too heavy, runners can be fine, lot of people go there for a run so stay on the tracks or walkways and she will be fine

Sorry. Stayed in a room with only one queen bed, so can't really help. Normally the hotels got a queen and single in a family room which works fine. Enjoy your trip. Queenstown is lovely!!
