Wow wow wow. This is an absolutely amazing experience and a must do if you have even the slightest desire to try a skydive! I am not usually a thrill seeker but I had the most amazing and fun time and would do this again in a hard beat! This was the highlight of my trip!
All of the NZONE staff were very professional and provided excellent service which made me feel very safe and secure from start to finish. From check in to briefings and shuttle transport to the drop zone I was very impressed with how seamless and easy the transitions between staff and locations was.
Although you of course arrive and fly up in a group once you walk into the hanger your tandem master approaches you and guides you through everything individually from that point on making for a a very personal experience and that is fun as well reassuring and comforting. My tandem master Tim was excellent! He was very friendly and talked me through everything he was doing which was very reassuring and I surprisingly was not even scared.
I did the 15,000 ft skydive which I would definitely recommend as you get the most amount of time to really soak up the feeling of falling (which is like nothing else!) and the stunning views of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. I also highly highly recommend going for one of the video and photo packages. While they are not cheap it is 100% worth it. It is so exhilarating and brings me so much joy to watch it back and relive the moments which would be so easy to forget when it is over so quickly.
Excellent experience, company and location- a must do and highly recommended.

My skydive instructor was Nick, who actually gave me a pep talk to motivate me before our dive. It was the best experience of the my life and I am definitely going again. The views while diving were amazing the lake looks even prettier from 15,00 fts above, I recommend going in the summer. The bus service from the city to the location and back is really appreciated. I went with five of my friends and we had a whole plane to us. OMG the photos and the videos that they take are amazing quality and whenever you see them again you just relive the moment.

If you have ever thought about skydiving then this is the place to do it. The team at NZONE are super professional. This place ran like a well oiled machine today, which sets a very comforting first impression for a nervous jumper! I was lucky enough to be paired with Rocco who took great care of me. I was extremely nervous but felt safe throughout the whole experience with him. I paid for a photo package and I'm so glad I did. Great memories!

Nzone skydive is one the best and safest skydiving in the whole world. They offer the spectacular and mesmerising views of the most beautiful town of New Zealand i.e Queenstown. Its a breathtaking experience😍😍. And compared to some other skydiving adventures in the world they have priced their offerings very reasonably. If you wanna do skydiving this is the best place on planet.

My 15 year old daughter & I took a jump in the school holidays. It’s been a difficult year for everyone, so to be able to celebrate life & freedom in our beautiful country in this way was most appropriate.
The booking staff in town were friendly & polite and looked after us very well.
Our tandem masters were friendly but professional and made us feel almost totally relaxed with what we were about to do. I mean we were going to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft at 15,000ft, there were a tinge of nerves that couldn’t be calmed.
The flight up to 15,000 was so beautiful. We had a bit of oxygen on the way up as the air thinned.
The tandem master double checked all of our connections & my harness then before you could think about the reality of jumping, we were out into the air.
And the rest is one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
You have to do it in Queenstown. The scenery is unreal, you won’t regret it.

This was the most thrilling and exciting part of our trip. There is nothing quite like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Getting here was no easy feat as the weather caused our jump to be cancelled a number of times. We really appreciate the help from the NZone staff in helping to make it happen. Both the staff at the office in queenstown and the ground staff and jumpmasters at the airport were extremely professional and friendly. They made us feel both safe and really hyped up for the flight up and the jump down, both of which had amazing un-paralleled views of the queenstown area. 10/10 would recommend :)

I just want to tell you all how much I enjoyed my day with Nzone. We booked our dive spontaneously, we were in the office at 12pm and shortly afterwards we were in the air. I was so lucky to be paired with Eddie, he was super nice, made me feel so at ease and secure. So professional and well able to have a good laugh too. In general the vibe was so amazing it was hard not to feel the buzz and it melted all my nerves away. Big shout out to Taco too, he's a legend. Learned all my banana skills from him 😂 I would definitely return again and if yoire thinking about doing a skydive , go with these guys. You wont regret it. THANKS GUYS X

One of a kind! The entire experience was unforgettable. The staff team were attentive and friendly, best service I could ask for. The plane ride up to the mountains was a special moment, Lake Wakatipu was stunning and the commanding view was superb during free fall. Also a huge shoutout to Flo who was my tandem master. He was so chill and gentle I almost forgot I was jumping off a plane at 12,000ft! He constantly made sure I was doing alright, I genuinely felt like I was in safe hands. He also captured amazing video footage of my whole experience plus awesome photos. Definitely gonna come back to try Wanaka and Southern Alps next time.

I am very afraid of heights but pretended to be brave enough to do a 12,000 feet sky jump. I did it! Haha. Very friendly staff they will look after you. Maybe my comment would be the jump masters some of them smells like cigarette. But I didn't mind just my partner who smelled them(we both don't smoke haha) otherwise one of the best things to do in QT!!!!

My partner and I both had never been skydiving and we can HIGHLY recommend going at Nzone in Queenstown!
The team - from sales staff to tandem masters and everyone in between - were all really friendly, encouraging and accommodating. It was a quick & transparent booking process and they had free slots on the same day, so we decided to go as a spontaneous decision.
And then the jump: it was breathtaking! Literally! The views were insane, among some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I jumped with Chris, who was super kind and patient despite me being a nervous wreck. My partner jumped with tandem master Tim and he was fun, easy-going and made the experience awesome as well.

Is it true that Tyler Nii's family reached out for help with his funeral and flight costs and the company didn't help?

Is it the Company's responsibility?
IF they were found at fault then I would tend to agree with your thinking and the Company liability insurance would have covered any related costs.
IF not then the Family has no claim against the company and should have got travel insurance as well for the travel and attractions.
In additions there are some disclaimer and forms to sign which clearly outlined everyone responsibility and accountability for taking part in these activities.
It is nonetheless a tragic loss and devastating for the family and everyone concerned. There are always risk associated with such activities. Blaming the company without proof and demanding they pay for all types of expenses will be admitting guilt for something they were not found at fault by ANY investigations criminal/civil by the proper authorities. The claim on the face of it appears baseless and without merit. It is your choice not to support the company. everyone will respect your decision.

We are visiting queenstown in the second week of January and are excited for skydiving at Lake want a (our first). We would be landing in QT around 1:30 PM and were evaluating if we can do skydiving the same day say by 3:30 or 4, gives us leeway to do more things in the city over the next 4 days.
Will the views will considerably different during that time as versus an early morning dive? I was also reading else where that the wind speed increases through the day. Does wind speed change the experience?

Also, keep in mind that your flight might be delayed, or any other number of factors might keep you from getting in at your anticipated time.
I wouldn't be rushing skydiving into a specific time slot. Put aside a morning or afternoon that isnt associated with travel.

I think the best time to do skydive is in the morning since weather plays an important role in this sport and can result to some delay (by hours or a day depending on the weather).
Early morning booking offers several advantages such as:
- Better weather
- Cooler temperature
- Less persons doing skydive

It is a good idea to book as much in advance as possible to ensure that you get the day and time you prefer. The round trip from our reservations shop and back after your jump can take up to 3.5 hours. September a great time to skydive over the beautiful snow capped Remarkables mountain range.
