My husband and I and 2 adult children took a Lord of the Rings afternoon tour with our guide and driver, Malcolm, in February 2009. Malcolm took us to at least 20 remote or unique locations all around Queenstown. He combined an incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining commentary with expert driving and courtesy. We were picked up from Trelawn place by a our Guide and friend Fran and taken to the start of the Mace town road at Arrowtown. My hotel recommended this tour as being one of the best, so I booked it despite it being $20 more expensive than a similar tour offered by Paradise Safaris. The weather on the day that I went on the tour was rather warm, and this could really be felt in the 4WD vehicle which was not air-conditioned. Further, with 3... More
