We were a group of 6 visiting from Sydney for a long weekend of food & wine for a 50th Birthday. I booked LS and gave them an itinerary I wanted to follow to do Winery tours. We had the fantastic Chris as our driver and he was a delight to have as our unofficial 7th tour member. Chris happily altered the program where time permitted and gave us his locals knowledge tour. He was even very tolerant to put up with our singalongs as the wine kicked in! We had Chris drop us at Amisfield Winery for a late lunch - he left us here and then we got a taxi back to the hotel. A great day had by all!

If you're looking for a tour operator to take you around queen town and even other places on the South Island, I highly recommend LS (and see if you can get Chris as your driver!)

Our trip was a mix of family and family friends (9 adults in total) and our itinerary was and travel with LS was booked through an agency.

I can't recommend LS enough. I wasn't sure what to expect from having a driver take us to where we needed to go, but as soon as we arrived and Chris was there to greet us and help us with our bags, we were in great hands; enthusiastic, informative and an absolute pro we were fortunate to have him as he was able to change things on the fly if needed, take us to little areas that most tourists didn't know about, and pretty much accommodate everything we asked.

We had s Mercedes sprinter as we were a large group, spacious enough to fit 9 big suitcases and 9 hand luggage bags. No issues with it at all.

In short, they come highly recommended. Having them take you around means you can kick back and really soak in everything that NZ has to offer which is a lot. And you really don't want to miss it by having to focus on the road, where you accommodation is, where the next rest stop is or if there's a place close by to eat. Let LS take care of that, let yourself enjoy what you went there's to do.

I was travelling as a large family group out on vacation to Queenstown. For a trip to Milford Sound, I emailed to a large number of tour operators for a private vehicle with a driver for the drive to Milford Sound and a cruise + Indian vegetarian lunch. All operators responded but most responded with just a quote and a cursory line or two.
James Penwell from LS responded in detail to all my queries and that was the reason I chose him - the company requires payment in advance which I paid over their online payment system.

On the day of the trip, James turned up dot on time in a well appointed vehicle which was spic and span and furnished with a child seat for a toddler in our group.
James through his well informed commentary kept the group engaged on the trip to Milford Sound and also knew when to not say much and let us have a dooze !!

The trip went splendidly no small thanks to James who stopped at just the right places in between and paced the whole trip brilliantly.

Highly recommended

My husband and I visited New Zealand for the first time and we absolutely loved the day spent with driver James Penwell of Limousine South. He was very knowledgeable and took us to many “out-of-the-way” places, such as Arrowtown, where most tourists do not go. He also was very concious of the fact that my husband and I are not “hikers”, so took us to places of our own ability to navigate. We would definitely choose this company and driver again if we return to New Zealand!

We spent 3 days with Chris, our driver and photography guide, in Queenstown and Dunedin. Chris was superb -- a professional photographer himself, so he knew all the best places to go, and at the best times. But even more than that, Chris went so far above & beyond to make sure we had an excellent trip. He was much more concerned with what we wanted to do and see than following any itinerary or timetable, and one day, he picked us up at 9am and we didn't finish until after 10pm that night! I cannot say enough good things about the service we received. Highly recommended.

Didn't get picked up from the airport upon arrival! Had to call them myself. Driver (James) turns up and blames my travel agent! Says no booking. But when I referred to the booking number .. no response. Unfortunately, we were dropped off by them too. Marcus just dumped our luggage on the pavement and took off without getting a trolley and helping!! Not happy two old women!! Had a 3 hour tour with Marcus. No bottled water van...common courtesy!!

Limousine South arranged a bespoke tour for my group of 12. The driver Steve was very nice and knowledgable about Queenstown and district. The bus was on very good condition and all enjoyed the day. I highly recommend this company.

When you are in Queenstown, New Zealand, you probably put 3 nights there. One full day tour to Milford Sound, half-day walking around the lakeside, take a cable card to the hill side - a vintage point to view breathtaking panorama of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu and shopping and dining. So there was another half-day that we could do something else and we did not know what to do yet when our airport transfer driver James, who worked for Limousine South Company, handed us a brochure from hotel concierge desk during our most recent trip in early January 2017. We didn't want to do bumgy jumping, parachuting, luging, and many other exciting, adventurous and not my age type activities. This tour was called Queenstown Highlights tour offered by Limousine South Company. It included Historic Arrowtown, a stop to watch those crazy young people free jumping with a secured strap on their feet from an abandoned bridge over a deep river gorge, wine tasting at one of the first New Zealand wineries - Gibbdston Valley Winery and finally a movie shooting location for the Lord of Rings. This sounded more like what we wanted to do. So we booked and had done it. It was memorable trip! Arrowtown was a charming small town not far away from Queenstown - colonial architecture, restaurants, cafes, and small shops. We actually tasted multiple wines produced at Gibbston Valley Winery and signed up their wine club. The Lord of the Rings movie site was not that exciting. Without Peter Jackson superimposed gigantic statues to make location of Pillars of the Kings, it was a beautiful New Zealand landscape. But this trip was excellent half-day trip. We highly recommend it.

We had a personalized tour by Ken around Queenstown. We visited the panoramic hills and neighborhoods around Queenstown, the AJ Hacket Bunge jump bridge, Gibbston Wineries, Arrowtown and then the Dart River jet cruise. All were fascinating. The Limo was a comfortable, spacious BMW and Ken was very informative and pleasant. This is a great way to see Queenstown, customized to your preferences.

James our tour guide was so informative, witty, helpful & polite. We were fortunate enough to share the tour with only 2 others - although a bigger group wouldn't have been an issue as the mini bus was very comfortable.
Our first stop was a view overlooking Lake Wakatipu & The Remarkables. Next we visited the AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge & watched a few jumpers & some that just couldn't do it. James informed us that once you have paid to jump & don't - there is no refund. We then went to Gibbston Valley Winery where we sampled 3 wines from the region. At the same stop there is a cheese store & gift store. From there we stopped where Lord of the Rings scene 'Pillars of the Kings' was shot. We then moved on to historic Arrowtown where goldmining took place in the 1800's. We saw where the Chinese settlers we relegated an area from where they could search for gold.
From there James very kindly asked where we would like to be dropped off - we opted for town as opposed to our pick up from our hotel.
An excellent tour that was thoroughly enjoyed.
