Lots of activities planned however no snow to speak of which was probably disappointing for some people. We however enjoyed the night markets and food and wine stalls. It was very cold. Bands playing. Parking is a real issue in Queenstown.

The opening ceremony was excellent with a fabulous firework display. It was disappointing that the streets around the centre were not lit up.Was expecting more lighting and decorations. After the first night , you wouldn't,t know it was a festival.
